Well I have to say, the buzz is not unfounded! I went over to Coach/Nordstrom's just to check it out first hand. View attachment 4672196 View attachment 4672198 Both styles are definitely upscaled a bit in size from the vintage original. The VB pouch is a bit over 6in across.
The color on the shoulder bag changed with the light. At first glance I swore it was burnt orange. But it is more tomato-y, if that makes sense.
In Coach, the super nice young women brought out and showed me the geometric clutch in ivory (just as stunning as the yellow) and a color block and the Emory and Rambler in the fuschia-y shade. And a tiny long belt bag in ivory. And then she brought out a taupe Dinky and indicated the leather was intentionally softer. Like Costa Rica vintage soft.
The bags will be going out on the floor next week.

Oh I've been looking for the ivory bag as a possible gift. Good to know it is in the store. I'll take a look this week. Thanks.

So I just went on Nordstroms and the small turnlock crossbody appeared in yolk! Never saw that bag in that color before. Showed one left. I bought it! Let’s see if I actually get it. And they need to stop releasing these bags in these great colors. Haha :P
Can you attach a picture? :biggrin:I am missing out on a yellow bag and I must see what it looks like lol! Couldn't find it on the Coach site either, in any color.
Edit: never mind, I didn't scroll up all the way. I tried this style in-store and my phone fits! iPhone 7+ with case, but it kind of floats at the top in the wider part. Not hating that because my lipsticks and slim wallet will be on the bottom. Yellow is my favorite color. So now, I have the green and yellow ones in that style on my list.

I got a call from my Coach Rep from the boutique store yesterday and she told me about the upcoming sale but mentioned that some of the newer bags are excluded - like the Coach Originals - the re-release of classic styles.

I answered that I already have "loads of classic Coach bags from back when there were original!" and she sounded a bit surprised but said "you know, you are the second client that said that to me!"

If you are interested in a classic coach bag I suggest visiting the "rehab and rescue" thread on this forum, you can find some wonderful, inexpensive, original-quality bags and fix them up to look great!
