So helpful right?!? Lol. Well I’ll definitely let you know once I receive it.Ok great thank you!! I think you may be right. I checked with coach if they could tell me if it’s a totally different bag and the representative confirmed that coach’s measurements were right but wasn’t sure how come this bag had the same name but different measurements (and had an adjustable strap) on nordstrom’s website. She was just as confused as we are.
Of course cause I just ordered the little green one. Lol. I do love this one too! Hmmm. Thanks for letting me know!!
So cute!!Here she is adding more cheer to my outfit
I just ordered it. I might have just had a moment of insanity. Lol. Love it and will see what I think in person. I will keep you alll posted.
Yay! This one will definitely work for you especially if the green one is actually as Nordstrom measured it'll be so tiny!I just ordered it. I might have just had a moment of insanity. Lol. Love it and will see what I think in person. I will keep you alll posted.
That’s so interesting! I wonder if it’s the only style where the leather was made intentionally softer... and what does that entail? As in, can I dunk those bags 20 years later? Haha
In theory, they can be dunked. What you mean by “raw” is simply unlined leather, which is what you find with the vast majority of vintage bags. For these newly released leather lined bags, they have simply sewn together two incredibly thin pieces of leather. I have dunked several bags , like the vintage Plaza, where the flap is lined with another piece of leather. Which I dunked successfully. And I have dunked fabric lined bags too. The question I would have would be how much dye loss would occur. Can you believe I am actually going there already in my head?? And yes, I realize the idea of dunking one of these bags is completely hypotheticalI’m not sure if they can be dunked as they are lined whereas the vintage ones are raw inside.
I know right...so not helpful at all!!! Ok perfect - thank you!!!So helpful right?!? Lol. Well I’ll definitely let you know once I receive it.
I would say that's a no. I bought a pre-owned 1941 dinky super cheap because it got wet in the rain and when it dried the leather under the flap got all wrinkly. The outside is fine though.I’m not sure if they can be dunked as they are lined whereas the vintage ones are raw inside.
I don't think it is similar, at least to the Preston. Hibiscus is more purple than that one.I just realized I do have Regina and Derby both in red. However, the Regina is darker red. So basically I have the same dilemma as you and I still can't eliminate either because neither was $350!
I really hope hibiscus is nothing like my pink Cassie, Bleecker Preston or my 75th anniversary pink saddle bag or metallic Cerise.. or... Wait no that's all the pink I have. I think.![]()

Speaking of the vintage Plaza, that will the mother of all pot belly bags if they reboot that styleIf they rebooted the Plaza in mineral blue I would lose. My. Mind.

I wouldn't dunk them. Vintage bags are thick leather. These are super thin pieces of leather bonded to something else and then lined with another thin piece of leather. Something would shrink or wrinkle. Also I doubt the dye would go all the way through. Dunking wouldn't restore the color. In theory, they can be dunked. Thank you! I went in my local store and saw it and loved it! It's a mini classic hobo crossbody! I also love the rambler because it's the perfect size! The color on the Emery 21 is more vibrant than in the glove tanned leather. Idk if it's the lighting in the store but was not impressed by the Pacific blue in person. It looked more muted than online photo. Yolk looked yellow and it's not mustardy. I wanted to compare next to buttercup but they didn't have any buttercup in the store. I only have a pic from Nordstrom from viewing them and IIRC correctly the buttercup is darker than yolk just going by the stock photos there.I don't think it is similar, at least to the Preston.
