it’s in excellent shape so far. I don’t use it a ton, but I have conditioned it and store it so it does not push against other bags.
I honestly don’t know if I want to be fully talked into or out of the tabby 26 with ombre, but here are my thoughts. It’s SOOO beautiful! I love the colors! I really don’t want to pay full price for it, but I know it’s excluded from the PCE. I love that it’s metallic, but that also concerns me that it’s going to wear away or something. I love the pave C, but I’m worried the stones are going to fall out. I was thinking of maybe getting the blue black glittery C as a back up, but that just makes it more expensive.
That one is sooooo pretty! You could also get a 2nd ombre pave one as backup. I'm thinking about a 2nd tabby 26, but it's at Dillard's so will be 30% off soon. They usually do a sale around black Friday. If I get a 2nd I'm going to see if coach SA will price match and then I can add more buckles.
Can you buy the C buckles separately or are they only with a bag purchase? Are all tabbys able to remove the buckle or only the newest releases?
You know, I didn’t even think of getting a second pave one. If I get one, that’s what I will do, and just hope the same stones don’t fall off each one. I see visions of transferring and gluing in my future.
Funny how we're all different. You guys are so much more patient than I am about that pave buckle. 
I wouldn't buy the pave one specifically for that reason- the stones will certainly fall out. I wouldn't spend money on something that will be damaged, and most definitely would not buy a backup pave because the stones would fall out of that one, too. I'm too picky to ignore a few missing stones and too impatient to try to glue them back in.
So as cool as the ombre pave buckle is, and as much as I like the look of it, I'd rather buy a different buckle entirely and let the ombre leather of the bag be the star, rather than stress and fuss over the stones.
I'm such an annoying customer because of things like this. I'll think through all the possible issues before I purchase. I wish I could just take it easy and use the buckle until the stones fall out- by then you've had your money's worth of use- but I just can't do it. I'm actually ashamed.

I worried too about the stones at first but they seem very secure to me. I have a large crystal wristlet from about 4 years ago that I throw in diaper bags and not one stone has come loose after all the abuse. The crystals seem to be set the same way as my wristlet. Now the crystal pieces of last year were garbage imo. I received a camera bag with 2 crystals missing, by the time I took it into the boutique 2 more vanished. The manager even told me to return instead of exchange because they had a ton of issues, they weren't deeply set like the new buckle.Funny how we're all different. Yep, I've seen last year's camera bags (the canvas ones) with the crystals missing posted in a few places. It's disheartening because you can see it instantly and it spoils the bag for the owner.
Very glad to hear that you've had such a great experience with your wristlet! I'm impressed that it's lasted 4 years without anything falling off. That's brilliant!
And thanks for the reassurance that these stones on the buckle seem super-secure; perhaps Coach learned their lesson from last year's mistakes and made sure the settings were better this time.

That’s great news! Maybe I won’t have to spend the extra $50. If you have time, could you take a picture of the straps? I haven’t seen a real good picture of the color yet.
Yes you can buy separately. You probably have to go through SA because I don't see them online at the moment, but I bought 2 and am debating adding a 3rd. If D can't help I have a local SA who certainly would.
Only certain tabby's are able to have the buckle removed. The others are glued down. You can see the customizable ones under coach create.
Good to hear the crystals seem secure. I bought a pewter /Gold pave one and don't have any concerns either. I suppose if a crystal were to fall out I would hope they would replace under the 1 year warranty. If it falls out after that I would have definitely gotten my $50 worth and just purchase another.
Both short and long straps are same color, same for the hangtag. Here is a pic of the long one against the bag. Hopefully someone else here has a better pic than this though. It's a dreary day here.

In regards to your comment about the crystals not attached well, does that include this wristlet below? I was eyeing it, but there are a lot of crystals on there with the potential of falling off.
