That's crazy that it's happening with multiple styles. I'm really undecided about keeping it since the one I originally wanted was the one from last February that always had the black strap. Still has the red piping and I like the pebbled leather on this one. It's also selling out fast; sigh, what to do. . . .

I'm still waiting for the perfect KF bag.
Was it supposed to floral based on the stock photos? Are you going to keep it or try to track down one with the other strap?
Did you receive yours yet? Mine came with a black strap.. I too ordered them when they were getting down to 8 and this was early last week. Arrived today with black strap; so disappointed as I loved the saddle contrasted one.

I heard about that. My order was delayed awhile and they told me that the item was not in stock when I ordered it so they were awaiting a backorder shipment, but didn't know the date. When I called CS, they said they had the item in their warehouse and that they didn't know of a backorder situation. Shortly thereafter, my bag shipped. I would recommend calling. They did with yours the same as with mine; changed the picture to the black strap, but they did that to mine after I received it.
I just talked to CS, and was told that the bag is indeed backordered and they expect it to be in stock in 30 days. I see zero indication of that on the website, so I'm not sure what's going on. Normally, items would be marked as backordered.
You're right; they would list a backorder date next to it, normally. . . something is messed up. At the time I ordered mine, they said there were 8 in stock on the website, but then, they said it was on backorder on the phone and same thing, 30 day wait, but they ended up shipping it out. It could ship sooner than they told you
I honestly don't remember for sure now because so many bags have been inaccurate, just like it used to have pewter hardware in the stock pics. I'm keeping everything I bought so far.
It's on saks.com right now showing as in stock. It's showing the old strap pic not the black one but I bet you would still end up with black.
On a different note, I played with the Troupe Crossbody in store, and it is a f*ing STUNNER!!! I only wish it were a bit larger in length/height. Pictures don't do it justice.
