Nice to see you @CoastalCouture hope your travels are going well - thats a long drive! We also drove cross country and were away 3 months (expecting it to be a week), i missed my bags so much lol. I carried my nero nodini every day the whole time. Your SM camera bag sounds very nice, and the pochette metis is a really great addition. I should carry mine more, its in mono but your navy empriente is such a beautiful bag.

We should compare notes! We also didn't quite have the summer we had planned.

The drive is coming along. We are now in Nebraska, pretty well the middle of our trip. We are taking our time. I am the only driver (refer to summer being not quite as planned) and can only do so much in a day if I expect to make it the whole way there.

Thats very hard, doing all the driving on such a long trip. Glad you are taking your time - if you aren’t in a rush to get home, that makes for a less stressful journey

We also did not have the spring/summer we imagined lol. Its been an exhausting and difficult 5 months, looking forward to easier days ahead 🙏 for us and for you also!

Thank you! I love this community!! I am going to try to find some time to post pictures in the next week - we have guests at home for the long weekend.

The knot clutches are always going to be on my radar.. I am specifically looking for a stretch knot clutch in darker pink, purple tones. Of course, it would be a jackpot to find a stretch knot in croc!

I am also routinely looking for 1980 Laurens. I particularly like the studded teal blue version they made a few years ago - kicking myself for not picking it up when I saw it on the preowned market several months ago.

While the “teen” lauren feels more functional, the current offering of colors feels sparse. I wish they would do it in more fun colors. Also the price is eye-watering if I were to buy new in boutique

I was just chatting with a BVette who picked up a Nero studded Lauren, deciding to go the TM route rather than new. And another bag friend who is hunting a Nero studded one b/c i won’t sell her mine I’ve seen the teal studded - it’s beautiful too! If you hunt, it will eventually come to you. I will keep an eye out, but def go post on the ‘seeking’ thread, so others will keep an eye out too. @Evergreen602 just found an amazing Lauren on poshmark so you never know where they will pop up

I was just chatting with a BVette who picked up a Nero studded Lauren, deciding to go the TM route rather than new. And another bag friend who is hunting a Nero studded one b/c i won’t sell her mine I’ve seen the teal studded - it’s beautiful too! If you hunt, it will eventually come to you. I will keep an eye out, but def go post on the ‘seeking’ thread, so others will keep an eye out too. @Evergreen602 just found an amazing Lauren on poshmark so you never know where they will pop up

Thank you - the Oculus treatment is so beautiful on the Lauren. I had no business adding another Lauren to my collection, but the seller on Posh really captured the beauty of those colors and that treatment.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think the color combo is Ivy / Thyme / Aqua, and that treatment is from the Resort 2018 collection. That may help in your search. Good luck!

Lovely to see familiar names come up. I’m really enjoying retirement. I’ve traveled a lot this year and am enjoying a nice longer stint at home before I head out again in November.

Marley our wheaten terrier died in May. She was 16 and an old lady and done. We let her go while she lapped ice cream. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have loved her. And she gave me the gift of seeing how rewarding adopting a senior dog is.

Old Harry is still alive and he was lonely being the only dog. So we brought Mabel home. She’s a seven year old retired breeding dog whose owners didn’t want her since they could no longer breed her. She is just a lovely happy little dog and we’re happy to have a full pack again.View attachment 6052693

For those who have/had this color, what color outfits/clothing did you wear while carrying it? I never carry my quetsche nodini b/c i find it incredibly hard to wear with anything in my wardrobe. Its a really cool color, and i carried it today b/c i am trying to carry bags i never use to assess my collection. I would like to carry it more, but always reach for other bags/colors before i reach for this one.

Might be that you aren’t seeing the purple in it - it would go with any blues, browns, fall-ish colors. Down your way those may be hard to come by
