I was never ALL that interested in Hermes until I saw the most beautiful magnolia Roulis 23 in London a little over a year ago. I am shocked this bag isn't more popular!!!

Absolutely true. The Mini version has been incredibly popular where I live and thus has been hard to find. The regular size seemed to be less popular, but hardly any came in at my store. Would love to add one more to my small collection but it’s been nearly impossible.

I remember being so obsessed in getting the Roulis 23 in early part of the year - when I was in London for 10 days, I practically visited all the H stores everyday! My local store said they were expecting some Roulis only towards the end of the year. I was lucky to finally managed to get one (in gold and permabrass HW) in Melbourne, Australia - thanks to my SA in that store! Like everyone else who is a Roulis fan, I just love the external pocket and roomy interior (though not too excited about the strap)!

Love the Roulis but have only seen pictures of it. It appears that one side of the strap is stitched and the other is toggled. If this is correct what is the purpose of this. I have OCD and wonder if this would bug me. TIA.

This is correct about the strap. It is so you can change the length of the strap. You can leave it long or double it up various ways to shorten.

It allows you to shorten the strap when you want to switch from cross body to shoulder carry. Please see the beginning of this thread for photos of the unique steap design. It has improved now that the toggle can be pinched in to allow for easier changeout. I love this feature and change from double to single when I need to.

Has anyone tried using the Hermes accessory straps with the roulis? (in particular the larger roulis) Trying to visualize how it it would look and curious if the strap hardware would safely round the roulis rings.

Thanks for any experience shared on this!
