You can wear the strap shorter this way.
You can double the straps if you want it super short too.

The new toggle has a hidden spring so it can be squeezed to shorten the length and fit into the ring. The older models you just had to bend the leather strap to get it in the ring. I hope I have explained it for you.Hi allure 244 - You have a beautiful roulis.

So the new version is with the hidden spring. I saw a video showing a different strap with a slightly thinner width near the toggle. Is that something new?
The slightly narrower strap is on older version. To help to bend the strap to fit into the ring.

Was hesitant to get a Roulis in Sombrero but waited months for my store to receive a black one. I am not using it daily but am very content with the look and feel of Sombrero so far - it still appears as new after weeks. Would absolutely purchase this leather type in a small/medium-sized bag again based on my recent experience.
Absolutely agree. One of my favourites. Very easy to use, comfortable and due to its clean cut can be used for any outfit.
