Ode to the Roulis

I can finally join this thread!

The mini roulis is just a perfect size bag for those who want a smaller day to evening bag similar to the mini constance. I decided the GHW was too bright for me though I loved the trench, and that the GM size was too similar in size to my other H bags. So here my choice - Mini Roulis Evercolor Vert Anglais. This is quite a departure for me, but after viewing many colors with it, it really is a unique and timeless color that works with so many of my silks and outfits. I will take modeling photos when the light is better. The mini size is terrific and I am 5'5 average build. It is hard to wear cross body, but in a pinch I don't mind the shorter strap for hands free carrying when needed.

It does not have contrast stitching and it is a wonderful rich and modern color. Very architectural in style to me which suits me just great. This thread is so very helpful and I am glad I waited for this size, leather and hardware. This color is very hard to photograph. It appears sometimes like a deep grayish green to a lush green with hints of blue in it. The first and last photo are the more accurate of this color. It is very neutral and easy to work with. I also brought home the fabulous Neo boots to go with it! I never thought I would be interested in a green bag, but this one stole my heart and is a wonderful addition to my wardrobe and accessories.

Thank you dear. I don't wear my fandarole 120 very often, but do wear my etcetera bracelet when I want something a bit edgier. It will be a great sub for the gorgeous necklace design.

Thank you dear friends: bagidiotic, eternal, textile, hclub ( extra hugs) for your compliments and rallying. It seems that it takes me eons to make a decision anymore when it comes to H. Is it due to possible hoarding? Anyhow, the VA is a terrific versatile color that works with quite a few vintage silks as well as the modern ones. I'm happy to have a new direction to pull different colors out. Just a few modeling photos since many asked how it fits. It is somewhat similar in length to the mini constance strap. It hits above my hip cross body, but is perfect length on regular shoulder carry. I am 5'5 medium build if that helps. I find the size to be perfect and different from my other H day bags that are typically 28-31cm. This is a great evening bag too when one wants to go out to dinner and or special events.

Posting some photos of silks that work great with the VA, and a couple of modeling photos. Please note these are quite foreshortened so hard to tell the actual size as it is close to the mirror. Super pleased with the mini roulis size. The only minor issue is that the strap does turn and get twisted now and then. But I guess it is something that one can live with short of wrapping clear fishing wire to secure it in place unless you need to convert to double strap lol. Modeled here with my new Neo boots that are a match in heaven. I am ready for Autumn!
