Very pretty ,love the navy and pink . I think FP makes the perfect Pareo ,and have a blue one from a couple of years back.
But I can't imagine how this was tied ,and even if I could manage to emulate the picture for sure it's going to fall off after a couple of steps!

I noticed online the FP pareo said the material is 100% cotton. Whereas a few from the past season said 100% cotton muslin. Does anyone know if one softer than the other or is there even any difference?

So funny because this morning I physically got my pareo out and tried (amusingly) my very very best to duplicate this look.

Guess what?

That's a pareo PLUS a bathing suit. You can find a strapless bathing suit in another design on the site.

With that said, I looooooooooooooove this look. Definitely a must have for me.

Never thought of that but it certainly figures, and I'm sure you will carry it off beautifully!
I love using the pareo ,but apart from that way where it's knotted and twisted then tied behind the neck , it has a way of untying itself .

I'm hoping to wear it as a shawl....."hoping" may be a stretch....

The FP does make a very good shawl , that's the beauty of the H fine cotton voile, it drapes so well .
I took a few scarves and shawls to South of France for a long break last month , and the Pareo was by far the most used ; as a pareo, a shawl ,and even to dry off after a swim . I think they are the best investment ever!
Here it is then worn over a linen jumpsuit .

Beautiful, Frou Frou!
I love that they are also easy to clean, I hand washed mine in the sink while on vacation in HI and all was well, no color runs.

This looks wonderful on you! Could you please share which pattern it is?

I have the Mythiques Phoenix pareo in a navy/off white combo (sorry I don't know the name of the colorway), and I wear it as a shawl as well. The weight and drape is perfect for certain situations, as it's lighter than silk but more substantial than a mousseline.
