Bumping this thread as it is starting to get too warm for much material around the neck in the sub-tropics. Hmm, are the boutiques currently showing more horn pieces...or is it just that I am noticing them more recently as I discard my scarves and shawls...? Anyway, here's an oldie but a goodie: Lift pendant.

It's been a while since I posted on any thread - but I've been a certified lurker. I've been re-inspired by the absolutely delicious posts, particularly of late. Etoile, the white and blueberry horn necklace/pendants are just fabulous, they have such a great summer vibe as well (we can all use that with the crazy weather!). Carlinha, welcome to the slippery slope of horn obsession. Once you start...and your started with aplomb! I absolutely love your Deva necklace paired with those two absolutely stunning summer dresses. I'm sure that necklace will gets tons of wear. Hermes sisters, your Deva is just as stunning, with the bright colors working so well. Wear in good health!

For me, well, I think I've posted my Lift and Deva earrings before. In individual posts...since then, I've been on a mission to find some pieces that I just had to have. Lena necklace, Qatar earrings (those were a 3 year trek), etc. Without further ago, my current horn collection:

I admit I'm not as colourful as some ladies here...but I quite like my little collection.

So glad you enjoyed seeing it, Jadeite! To further entice, here are a few photos showing the reverse side of my white Lift. The lighter areas of the horn, being somewhat transparent, take on a bit of the lacquer color from the front. In the case of white lacquer, it tends to highlight the pattern.

I have to say I think yours is a rather unique piece to have a pattern like that.

How pretty (actually, I love the entire outfit)! I think the white actually helps highlight the beautiful stripes on the reverse. What a great and special find!
