Katel---
The Coupon cws are as follows:
First up is cw 04 lilas/chartreuse/taupe
middle is 01 rose indien/brique/brun
last one is 06 bleu canard/potiron/aubergine

Laila T, I felt bad that you are not enjoying your Coupons Indiens shawl. I bought it in 3 colors, and wear them a lot. I have the rose indien, the lilac, and the blue canard. I am including some pictures of how I tie them. Sometimes I am not as neat as the pictures would suggest. One of the reasons I like this design, is there are so many ways to just toss it on, for a different look.

dear 880 and vildachya,
thank you so much for your support and the wonderful photos. i do have the bleu canard that 880 has. i love all 3 colorways shown and would probably have bought any of them. problem for me is the pattern/design. I think it's too bold for me (to wear). yikes! an expensive mistake. i also fell out of love with my Voyage en Etoffes which I bought on the same trip, but at least I've worn that one and the boldness of the pattern is sort of masked when it's wrapped. Actually I wore it to our tPF dinner meet in Paris as a long necklace (twisted and knotted at the bottom front) and that look worked with my vintage-y dress that night. This Coupons though... might have to find a friend... sheesh! the saga continues...
THANK YOU AGAIN for all the help though; you are wonderful!

vildachya, I have the lilas Coupons shawl and adore it.... and have to tell you your user name was one of my dad's nicknames for me when I was little ... !

katel, your plumes is beautiful! laila T, is it possible for you to exchange your new blue canard coupons for the neutral one that Doloresmia has -- her's is all cream and light steel brown/taupe? I actually bought the cream taupe and exchanged it for the blue canard because I got home and was like, yikes -- this is too elegant/subdued for my style :)

vildachya, I love all your colorways!!!! Which is your favorite? To me they all look so different!

:crybaby:oh no, i am sorry you are out of love with your two shawls........

At todays meet, Miss Margaux was listening to me saying I could not take good pics of cirque molier, and she very nicely called her husband up to ask him to come to the restaurant and take a pic of the colorway for us. He loves photography as a hobby and has a very impressive camera and she said that she would post as soon as they got home tomorrow. . . have to say I think I am kind of similar in complexion to doloresmia, and normally would never consider this colorway, but somehow it works on me. I cannot do regular Hermes pink, light orange, or any yellow, as it sallows my complexion.

Hi it was no problem, I'm home but just give the DH a bit of time to settle back at work, the pic should be up in the next day or so. Happy to help out fellow tpfers if I can no probs.

I don't touch his toys (cameras) and I wouldn't know how to do it anyway.

:ty: MissMargaux (and Mr. Margaux) for indulging me with the pic. What a gorgeous colourway! I need to make a decision soon before they fly out off the store.

You are most welcome and let's not forget 880 she is the one who brought the scarf and asked for the picture.

DH and I were happy to help out, no probs at all, good luck and I hope it helps you to make your decision. Please do a reveal and modeling pics if you decide to buy it.
