DiamondS i'd never seen pavements in the GM and it's one of my fave designs -- you too look super!

well here are a couple of pix of me with the Tigre Royal shawl i just got in lieu of the Passementerie (which i had thought was my HG, but without trying it on IRL i just couldn't spring for it...)

I love this colorway! I almost got it but chose something else....now, I could just kick myself....it looks gorgeous on you! I think this is something you can wear year round! Enjoy! I'm getting on the phone with my SA!!:heart:

It arrived today.... I really love it. I don't know why they call the main color "rouge". I don't think I am color blind but it looks totally orange to me... In comparing it to another shawl, it appears to be one shade brighter than Orange Vif. It has my favorite colors in it... Turq, purple, orange ... It has a little more solid space to it than I like. I am trying to stick to busy patterns as they show snags and runs a lot less. But this one is a keeper for sure! Unlike a lot of you, orange is my #1 most favorite shawl color. I just totally love orange!! I have 4 orange shawls now and others with orange in them so I may have to cool it a bit and try for other colors for A/W 09.

Ottavia, thank you so much for sharing this shawl with us as I would never have had an opportunity to even know it existed!!

So, without further adieu here are a few shots taken on a hanger... It was dark when I got home from work so I didn't have ideal lighting .... The middle color is showing up as a golden yellow but it is more of a light orange.

kallie girl, the cirque is beautiful in orange colorway! Can I ask, how do you feel about the voyage en ettouffes in orange or if you could rank your orange GMs in order of your preference? The reason why I am asking is because I love orange too; love the voyage in orange, but wonder if it is too busy a pattern for me. . . as I tend to be a more is more kind of person and wear patterned coats etc. . .I also prefer not to have vast tracts of unpatterned cashmere as I worry about snags, but since someone kindly made my last pull disappear with a safety pin, I am less concerned.

I love all my orange shawls but my #1 favorite is the Cheval sur Mon Carré in orange. I don't know what it is about that shawl but I just am soooo in love with it. It just draws me in and makes me swoon every time I look at it. It really is crazy because the design is the most simple of any of my shawls and it only has two colors in it ... I don't know what it is about it that has me so in love!

My other orange is one of my first shawls... Marwari... I love, love, love that one. I also love my Voyage in orange. I love this type of design and really most all of Annie Faivre's ... I like the layers of design that this has. The shawl can be worn so many ways to show off different colors and parts of the design.

And #4 is this new Cirque.

Soooo, as you can see... I am quite enthusiastic about all ... they are all precious to me!! :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

thank you Kallie girl, that is really helpful as is the pic. . . Maybe I can have both the orange bolduc AND either the coupons, the voyage or the carre en carre in orange :) decisions, decisions :)

They are both beautiful, Luvbolide! So much so, I got the black one as well, in Cashmere Shawl and in mousseline! They are so hard to resist! Here's a pic of the black c/s. DH insisted I get both the shawl and mousseline or I'd regret it one day!
