I hope these pictures help!! Good luck making a choice.

YUMMMY! Absolutely gorgeous! I didn't see these before...must go through this thread from the back, and SOON!

How fortunate we are to have you here to help us do the compare and contrast, thank you for doing that LiW....your collection far surpasses any boutique inventory around! :woohoo:

You are very kind. I love being able to share with others who appreciate the beauty of H!! Everyone has such lovely taste and choices.

Unless you're totally bowled over by Les Coupes, it's a design that--IMO--should be seen in person before purchasing. It really has a retro feel about it, and if you're considering whether the size of the design works for you, that's something to think about, too.

Happy shopping regardless!

LuxuryinWichita, thank you, thank you!:heart:

Now I am attracted to the pink Les Coupes more.

Thank you for your advice, Ammietwist. I hope my local store will have this design soon so that I can take a look.

Ok just to add to the Ode, which is to sing the praises of...I have just come back from another trip. Took my bois Marwari and it has now been in 6 states in 2 months and I have used it to:
wrap up in on a cold airplane
twisted as a scarf with a white t shirt and jeans in warm Palm Springs
As a shawl over a dark suit in a cold airplane hanger during a reception
as a makeshift table cloth in a hotel at midnight for room service of white wine and cheese and crackers
as a top folded up to cover my open birkin at an evening event
as a muffler under a grey wool coat
as a loose scarf undre a fur
and folded up under my Birkin as a sort of pillow to set on a side table at a private hospitality suite.
So useful, so beautiful and so functional.
My Ode to the GM Shawl

LuxuryinWichita - thank you too for posting the comparison photos! You have a stunning collection and you are so organized to be able to pull them out straight away and photograph them so easily. I'm impressed.

- by the way, I like the drawers too!

Is it possible to give equal time to the 90 CM c/s? I love that thread but it tends to get buried, and if it were moved to the clubhouse I think it would it would be great. The title is: 90 CM Cashmeres....Let's Show, Tell, and Enable!! Am I alone in thinking this??? Thanks to whoever it was who organized the Hermes clubhouse, it works great!

I have tried on the pink Les Coupes as pictured by LiW. I am truely tempted by it. The design looks so simple but the colour palette suits me and the design is very modern and chic when worn, it is really quite surprising. Ooo so tempting. My problem is I have a framboise tohubohu already, and a grey/white Ex-Libris which satisfies the "modern" look. I don't know what to do!

My first impression was that Coupes is a little retro 60's Pucci-esque, esp. the turquoise one. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I agree, it may be wise to see in person before buying. Also, large designs sometimes "swamp" you when worn. Tigre is a bit of a "swamper".

I hear you, Lyanna Stark. I am very tempted too, especially am looking for one with framboise or pink color. Do you think the pink in Les Coupes is closer to Framboise? It looks like not pale pink.

thank you for your insights too, toujours*chic. now I really want to see it in person, too bad my local store does not have it.
