Ode to the Evelyne

If I were to get a black evelyne, and then a light color SLG (like rose azalee), would the black interior of the bag cause color transfer on the SLG?

I like the idea of a light color wallet that I can easily see, but I don’t want to have to keep it in its dust bag inside my bag. (I’m also not planning to use an insert or organizer, I find they take up too much space.)

I have black TPM and 3x colors of SLGs that I carry alternately: vert amande in evercolor leather, barenia (fauve) and anemone in chevre. Have been using the bag daily since November and have used the VA and anemone the most (barenia is new as of last week). So far zero color transfer for me.

I have the 33/GM, and I thought it looked bigger and slouchier on you, but in a very good way. Wonder if mine looks like that on me? I hope so...

I purchased mine pre-loved, so maybe it's a bit more worn in (in that good way). I also find it hangs differently depending on how stuffed it is and the angle it's falling. I'm sure your GM looks great on you, though. These bags are so easy to wear and style.

I have had the Evelyne II 29 in clemence for several years and stopped using it for a while. I’ve only carried it over my shoulder with a twilly tied to 1 end because it’s too heavy cross-body (hurts neck). When I recently took it out for a shopping day it felt too heavy. Now, I will only use it for errands. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older? Does anyone else feel that their Evie has become too heavy? Thanks

Have you seen the TPM in stores recently? I know there are many TPMs available in the pre-loved market but I’m looking for a specific color and the bags I’ve seen so far aren’t in great condition.

Definitely not discontinued (I saw a beautiful Anemone TPM on display last week) but hard to get at the moment...

Hi! I got offered a TPM in the gold color from my local boutique. I love the size and the color, but I’m going to Paris in a couple of weeks and wanted to try my luck there for a b25 (I know chances are low) but i have saved for it so I can put it out to the universe. I am worried if I pass on the Tpm thar color will be súper hard to get later if I have no luck in Paris. Any advice?

I would say that if it’s the colour that you want, go for it. When I went to Paris last month, a few SAs told me that the TPM was getting harder to get, and it’s the same here in London.

Yes! And big even in the 29. I have the TPM (too small). I just purchased a Coach ( I know!) Emery in size 18 (a feed bag crossbody style) and this is the perfect size I wish H made the Evelyne in (for me).

Absolutely not true. This blog post is over three months old and H is still selling out of TPMs every day. (Also, this blog links to Fashionphile which is kind of odd...)
TPMs also show up online every week but sell out quickly. Just keep stalking
