Ode to the Evelyne

So, after thinking about it for well over a year, I finally decided to pursue an Evelyne tpm as my first Hermes bag. I put together a list of colors I'd be interested in and settled down to stalk the website. The week I finally managed to spot the bag, not one but two of my preferred colors came up:
These are Rose Jaipur and Raisin. So, now I'm debating: keep one (Rose Jaipur) or keep both? How difficult are these colors to find on the Evelyne TPM? I would love input from more experienced Hermes fans. Thank you!

Keep both. They are fabulous colors that are very different.
Thank you! I guess what I'm struggling with is - keeping both or maybe returning the Raisin and putting the money toward an Evelyne 29, a mini Lindy (supposing I can even track one down) or a Toolbox 20, which are all on my list!
When one puts their Evelyne on their car seat, how do u prevent a pen, lipstick or other keys from falling out of the top? The side openings are what prevent me from buying one, and I’m tempted, except for that issue! Suppose some sort of insert is required, and if so, which one?
I purchased an insert for just this reason! I added a zipper on the top and love it. I ordered from White Fox Bags on e t s y. Totally recommend

2 very hard to come by colors . I would keep both or swap one out for a pm or gm.
Oh, that's good to know that they're hard to find colors. I do have a bad tendency to rush into things when i start buying a new brand. Part of me thinks I should just keep these two and enjoy them for a while before I make another Hermes purchase. Thank you!
Same! I have 2 inserts from white fox - one with a top zipper and one without! They are perfect!
I have three TPMs so I am a bad one to ask...and I love Raisin. If Raisin came my way I’d have 4. But clearly you love the RJ more, so keep that. Al Evie TPMs are in some demand. Beautiful bags !!
They're both so lovely. Congratulations on scoring them and good luck with your decision. I personally think it's a great idea to return one and get a 29.
Thank you - I appreciate your input! I really like how rich and deep the raisin is, but I think initially I had my heart set on a brighter color. Still, they are so different, it is tempting to keep both...
