After having this Pink beauty, im now addicted to Evelyne and planning to get another in GM. Hence would like to humbly ask for opinions. I'm now eyeing for orange, but wondering if it would be too similar to the one i currently have. Got a good deal from a friend who is letting go hers as its too big for her. The price is about usd1600 and it is in brand new condition from year 2012. Is that a good deal for a 7 year old bag?

Your Evelyne is beautiful, congratulations! I do think your friend's orange one would be too similar. And although it's a good deal, I would save towards one in a totally different color.

Do you know what color hardware you prefer? Both Bleu Nuit and Etain look exceptional with gold hardware!

You can’t go wrong. I tried to get blue nuit but at the time etain was available so I went with that and I love it. I have to say, blue nuit is a gorgeous color BUT it’s dark. Etain is just a perfect shade, not too light or too dark and goes with everything.

Thank you smallfry for your advise! I have decided to take the plunge as it is irresistible. So addicted to evies now! Planning to get another one in mini size :)))))

Has anyone experienced stains or color transfer with the gold Evelyne? I’m thinking about purchasing one but light handbag colors tend to make me a little nervous.

I noticed the TPM has been popping up in various colors on the US web site every week for the last month since I started stalking the web site looking for one. Not sure how often it used to pop up before but definitely seeing them pop in the short time i’ve been watching. But they go fast. People post when they see one on one of the shopping threads. Several forum members have managed to score one off the web site. These are a couple of the colors i’ve seen on the US h.com site in the past month. I was able to grab one of the jaune de naples color a few weeks ago and am really happy with it. Perfect color for summer.

Oooh please do share a photo when you get the chance! I am curious of the jaune de naples if it’s a happy bright yellow vs a muted lemony yellow...
