Ode to the Evelyne

I just recently purchased a new Evelyne PM in gold clemence leather and noticed that the leather feels thicker, coarser, more sturdier and my previous Evelyne. Has anyone noticed this? Not complaining. I really like it better.

Don’t think you can really tell by this picture but my other Evelyne had a smoother look and feel to it

Samorga just told me they are working on the right shape for the Évelyne... they refunded my money and I just ordered an organizer from maitai... Let’s see if it was a good decision

What was the issue with the Samorga specifically? I just ordered one [emoji17]

It might not be Clemence leather. I’ve seen a few Evelyne in Maurice leather which has smaller grain and it is a bit more structure. Kinda like in between Togo and Clemence.

Mine feels pretty thick too, however it’s my first Evie so I can’t really compare it to an older one - just thought it’d be less thick. Just got one last week in Noir.

It took about 4 weeks and it was free of charge. I did it in June but I bought the bag in 2016.
