I have been following H forum for a while, but didn't post anything for ages. I really admire all your beautiful collections, and the passion we all share for all these beautiful items that come in the orange boxes.
i have a question for Evelyne in Etoupe. Does it always come with white stitches, and would it always be the same type of leather? That is what I was told by the SA, and that it is always with the SHW. I just didn't know where would be the best place to ask than this one.
And what do you think, or what is your experience with the white stitches,do they change color over time, get dirty,how do you clean them? SA told me that it could be sent to H service center for cleaning. i didn't even know that it existed...

Nope I using etoupe for ages and various model
Stitching remain perfect
To the best of my knowledge, Etoupe is always done with white contrast stitching. Evies with GHW are really rare in any color, so it’s unlikely you’ll find an Etoupe GHW Evie.
My Etoupe Evie is one of my most used bags. I’ve had it since 2015 and there is no change in the stitching — it looks as white as the day I bought it. The thread is wax-coated so it shouldn’t stain or darken.

Thank you so much catsinthebag.It is good to know that the white stitching will not turn into gray color from use. Three years sounds pretty good. And hopefully it could be sent to H for re-stitching. I wonder if anyone has done that....

. Is this etoupe without white stitching? Or it can't be seen on this photo? Sorry, I just don't understand now. I though etoupe is always with the white stitching.
