Hi Cats! I have Bleu Nuit and Bleu Electrique already but neither has the contrast strap, which I really love (I can use the Cuivre strap with my gold Kelly). I'm traveling so plan to take a family photo when I am home....I think one of the bright colors will have to go. Three is plenty!
I am glad to have these small bags - I think it is easier on my shoulders,. I should write them off as healthcare!

Funny, I had the same thought about how the Cuivre strap would go well on a gold Kelly! Blue Electrique sounds amazing even without a contrast strap. How will you ever decide which one to part with? :panic:

I personally would never purchase this leather again despite how lightweight it is. I say this as an owner of box and Barenia which can be delicate and leathers I love. I think Epsom is embossed leather and has virtually zero capacity to be restored. In an Evelyne it is to structured to utilize the bag as it was intended. Even slightly filling bag causes unsightly bulge issues in my opinion. And I say this as a pm size owner who enjoys a more streamlined look to begin with.

I know this is a very old post, just wanted to add that I purchased an Evelyne in Etoupe a couple of months ago. I found an Etsy seller called WhiteFoxBags, who hand sews (from linen) inserts for the Evelyne. I didn't like seeing the shapes and edges of the items I was carrying in my bag poking against the leather sides of the bag. I've been very happy with my insert and if I purchase another Evelyne at some point, I will definitely purchase another insert from her. She will make them to order, whatever color you choose from the large selection of linen fabrics that she offers. Very pleased with mine and can recommend her.

lol I do the same thing, even though I'm not in the market for another Evelyne right now. Just love seeing what's available. I love the Beton color, looks like a great one for summer.

I have a question about Evelyne, more like curiosity. I just started my admiration of this bag and I realize this bags are more expensive preowned than new? Why? I saw a preowned on a reputable website going for AUD$7k for a PM, while others are going for USD3k (approximately AUD$3.9k) and the Hermes website is selling it at AUD$4k. Is there something that I am missing out?

Maybe it's for popular colors that people want but are hard to get (for people who don't have time to haunt a boutique or camp the website). I'm sure they will mark up anything they think people may pay for to make it easier to purchase.

Also to add, I check the website all throughout the day, most days, and it’s RARE for new colors to come on. I guess nobody wants the turquoise blue colors because that seems to always be available!
