Absolutely gorgeous and so varied too! Dear cavalla I am so happy and honored to be twins with you on quite a few of these designs. I can't wait for you to get the gray dallet. I hope you will consider the Zenobie in black and gold. It's my absolute favorite after my Marwari.

Thank you, dear eternal. I also noticed that we're attracted to quite a few same designs and are often scarf cousins if not twins. It's quite encouraging to hear your love for the Zenobie. Marwari wasn't a love at first sight to me initially but then I ended up using it every day until I got a loooong pull on it going through the security at the airport. Eventually I fixed it and you can't even tell that there was a pull. But ever since then I try to rotate my scarves often so that they don't get overworked and go on strike. It sounds silly, I know... I hope the Zenobie will still be around when I have a chance to go to the boutique.

PbP, I would love to know what to do with that ribbon! I have just thrown out loads of bags and ribbons from my favourite jeweller but can't bring myself to throw out my H ones. Daft, I know.
Eternallove4bag, I have absolutely no choice about whether or not to keep my boxes. I only have a small family of scarves, 3 CSGMs, 5 nineties and one vintage ninety, as I only got into my scarves in April, but I am absolutely terrified that moths get into them. We are never infested but do get the odd one in our drawers that always seem to love the finer fabrics (and once destroyed my husband's kilt). So, into each box goes one little anti-moth sachet as soon as my scarf arrives but I hate the smell and it sticks to the silk more than any perfume. I wish H could do a range of self-adhesive cedar liners, just sized right to stick into the inside of the box lids. The little balls seem useless. I can only dream of having a nice collection laid out in a drawer, just waiting to be chosen each morning!!!
Awww[emoji8]... The boxes serve a practical purpose too! I never thought about the moth problem. I should be more careful too. Currently all my shawls are in drawers but I am looking for better ways to store than that. We should start a thread maybe on how to store these beauties better! Would love everyone's perspective!

Oh! So sorry to hear about your beautiful Marwari but I am so happy that you wore and enjoyed yours so much! I am the same with all my shawls! I wear them to death. It's like one of my friends once said that the more u wear something the cost per wear goes down and so now I am thinking these babies are practically free with the amount I wear them [emoji23]... Love being twins and cousins with you on so many of these beauties [emoji173]️[emoji173]️... I am hoping you will get a chance to try the black and blue CW of Zenobie too! However this season almost all CWs of Zenobie are spectacular so you won't go wrong with any[emoji8]

:hugs:I took a pic for another thread cannot remember which... Here is an updated one my fellow shawlies, i tend to buy multiple cws of designs i love!

You have several of my all-time favorites in your collection – just beautiful. Can I ask which colorway of concours d'etriers is that towards the bottom left?

Thank you ladies! :flowers:

Hopingoneday, it is the light beige with orange/blue border. Dont keep records so dont know the proper color names. Here is a pic.. That is why i love H shawls, the details are so vivid! I was intially after the yellow one but it really didnt look right on me and ended up with this neutralish one instead.

Oh thank you![emoji4] The 2 on the left are Caducée Rock 100 cm from the men's line. Same designer of the CLF. I love these to bits, as you may see some "fuzzies" in the pics. [emoji39]

I'm gonna tell it to you straight...I think you need that Kachinas!![emoji12] This was/is an exceptional year in H design and I think there have been many grails made. The Kachinas IMHO will be one of them.

But, I can completely sympathize with you, as I'm trying to stay strong and not get the grey Dallet. I KNOW I'm making a huge mistake not buying it!!!! But, I wound up with 3 big bag purchases in a very short time, including my SO that came in 3 months!!! I was not at all planning for that and had to pluck my money tree clean to get it![emoji30]

PS-shhhhh! I bought 6 this year, so you're better than me!! [emoji15][emoji6][emoji849]

Beautiful collection StyleEyes! Remember seeing the caducee rock from another member, the details are fabulous! how do you find the 100cm size?

I've so enjoyed seeing the collections of CSGMs and pressing the like button a zillion times seems inadequate , so thank you for sharing .
I have come to an impasse with the format because I have several that I no longer wear so much but can't bear to part with and so adding to the collection hasn't interested me …until now!

Hi frou frou! You have a lovely collection. I remember some of yours. Are you not wearing scarves much these days?

Thank you PocketbookPup .
I
do love my scarves and shawls ,but there come times when it feels liberating not to wear them.
I've just started enjoying some of my silks again, and I nearly always have a CSGM with me, in my bag if not around me.
I'm pleased to have assessed what is a small collection , and gave them all a needed shake out to take the photo. Moths away!
I see that I like an interesting border with tie-appeal: my favourite one is the Concours d'Etriers and both Honoré designs are pretty good too. I don't seem to like the more intricate patterns on me , though it's been difficult to resist some of them!
L'Instruction du Roy has an illuminating border with that strip of white and ties lie a dream. I love the large scale reissues like this one.

They all come in and out of favour , currently L'Instruction, Sieste and CSMC are getting lots of wear .

Wow this thread progresses really quickly. I have been neglecting this shawl busy catching up with the new 2017 scarves thread. I just want to write a quick note to thank those that is so sporting to participate in the "Shawl Collection Reveal" party. Everyone's collection is TDF and especially reading the story behind everyone's journey to collecting H shawl is so much fun.

Here you go yodaling, taken with iphone no enhancements

Hi GNIPPOH,
I am sooo wowed by this picture. The blue border is killing me. This colorway has not received many limelights. I knew I have seen this before but not as often as the rest (pink or the blanc) and most of the pictures shown for the blue aren't giving this colorway good justice. Your picture is just perfect. Beautiful pictures and I am lost for words.

Something about the bright blue against the light blue makes it so interesting. Reminds me of 2 TPF members SO birkins in blue electric and atoll a lot. That is the first thing that came to mind when I saw this. Can I ask you if you know which colorway this is and the colors? I am so intrigue by this colorway. I hope when you wear this out next time you can do some mod shots for us. I am wondering if this is an easy to pair color.

This shawl needs a lot more show time!! It deserves it. Too pretty not to show.

Yodaling1, I just have to say that you ask the most perfect specific questions throughout this entire forum. I just wanted to thank you for all your contributions, because as an example this shawl is gorgeous.
Hi Onthego,
Thank you for your comment. You made my day. I hope I can continue to give useful contributions for as long as I can. I really enjoy it.

Am excited to see yours [emoji8]... And you are too modest! I know I will love looking at your collection!
Finding the motivation to do this is so hard. This sounds funny but doing family pictures really takes so much time and effort. I am sure you all know this. It is like waiting to wake up on the right side of the bed and having all the stars aligning for the perfect day and mood to do it. I am waiting for that day. It has been cloudy these past few days and I won't be able to get good pictures showing true colors with the overcast. I hope to be able to do this soon and join the party.

I would like to join the party. It doesn't happen else where that I get to confess my obsession of getting multiple CWs for a design I like. A compulsion only you scarfies will understand.

I'm still waiting for my Dans l'Atelier de Robert Dallet in gray and am looking around for a black CSGM. Black is challenging for me but missing a black seems incomplete for a collection. Zenobie in black and gold might be a good candidate, but it's hard to say before trying it on.

Hi Cavalla,
You have almost got all the rainbow colors covered. Great collection nonetheless. Will see what you decided to add eventually for the black. I am loving neutrals a lot more these days.

Hi, the black shawl above brandebourgs is ex libris. I bought that one from a reseller for a very pretty penny but it was worth it.

Mors is very similar to cavalleria d'etriers but doesn't have the purple or brown so it works with one or two of my outfits that cavalleria does not. Plus I thought having two would preserve cavalleria longer [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I still wear both my 90s and my 140s. My favorites are the 140s in any format. I just love the length and the large swath of fabric. But there are some beautiful 90s too and sometimes they do seem more work appropriate.
Hi PbP,
May I ask if you have a picture of just this ex libris please? Would love to see how this one looks like.

How fun! Here's my collection (I'm missing a couple though).

I remember my first like it was yesterday. I was living in Munich at the time and H was just around the corner and was the store I 'cut my teeth' on. I remember long talks with my DH on the way back home, saying things like "OMG, I could never spend that much on a scarf! That's just crazy!!" "How can they justify charging so much for a scarf!!"

Then it became "well, maybe just one to see what the fuss is about..."

And then BAM!...I had a collection!!

Just like that, I'm discussing how "I really need this one to fill a hole..."

I have similar story like yours before I started buying H shawls. I just can't believe how expensive they are and anyone will actually spend that much on a scarf. Now I have a small collection of these. It just never stops at 1 does it??

Thank you PocketbookPup .

We are twins in a few. Recently a good friend of mine gave me a few long rectangular zip lock bags to store the shawls. It is a perfect size for the shawl. I wonder if anyone actually stores their shawls this way inside a plastic zip lock bag? I know when purchasing shawl from H boutique, it comes originally wrapped in plastic anyways so I think it should be okay to do it to deter from moth?

Thank you for the picture. Now I recall which design this is. Definitely a very beautiful and very sought after one. If I remember correctly it comes in the light grey version too is that right? I do love your black one more.

It does come in grey and that one usually sells for a bit less I believe. It's very pretty. I have seen several in eBay recently. It's difficult to find one that is new and unused though and I think that's more important with a csgm than a silk.
