hmm, I use Picasa to collect the existing pics in one file, then just use the button that makes collages and chose a format. then I upload the finished collage to my dox, in either 800 or 1024 pixel size. lately tpf takes both so I ditch the 800. not a computer geek here by any means!!!

Oh, ok! I checked Picasa and my rebel soul whimpered when I saw that it was connected to Google. G is already trying to access every aspect of my life so no can do. I just did a collage the old fashioned way, using photoelements. Took longer, of course.

Thanks so much bjostone. It was pretty easy, lots of fun and hopefully educational. It made me consider why certain shawls worked or didn't and theoretically will make me a more effective buyer.

If you can stand it, here's another grouping of the pink/red GMs that I have now. I didn't realize that they all have a significant amount of off-white or beige which goes with the hair. Except for the Grands Fonds bright pink border and the red Fleurs et Papillons they're all on the pale/medium end of the pink spectrum. These shawls still give me a thrill when I take them out of their box and there are no doubts when I wear them. That was my goal.

ps - guess that new pink Coup de Fouet giant silk falls into these criteria.

You can always buy it from h.com and return it if you don't like it. Or as I say, there's always another CSGM it can be exchanged for...

A kind reminder to anyone who posts their shawl on that Reference thread, whenever possible, PLEASE watermark your shawl photos. We don't want scammers to search Google Images for your photos and use that for their fake listings.

Will do, seton! I keep an archive of photos of every H item I've ever had. Although there are multiple photos of each item, that means MANY photos. Fortunately they are filed by scarf name or item description...but it looks like I'll have to watermark them.
