what I find interesting is that the "pink" is also soft............I am NO EXPERT on anything H, and I have not seen the "pink" MORS IRL, but to my limited knowledge aren't the H pinks usually pinkier? is the pink MORS "paler", "lighter" "softer" than typical? The Birds in Flight GM and silk (?) (my ignorance is showing, but the exquisite shawl with the birds taking off) has varying shades of pink.........all softish, and I think HSblue had a recent pink on evil B (maybe Early America? or something) that also seemed soft.I am with you... I have so many bright shawls and nothing soft. That is why I'm dying to see this one you have! If this is soft aqua marine...quasi lagon... I think I will get it bc it's soooo diff than anything I usually go for but the colors draw me in so much. It has been calling for me since day one. BUT I also love the cw BBC got and her modeling pic has made me crazy!!! SO, it is between these two.... I have nothing similar. WWLD??? (what would Lanit do? hahahaah)
Here you go! Hope it helps! I love the colors in this shawl.
That Grand Tenue is so handsome and elegant. I bought the one Vigee B has, the fuschia, chartreuse, etc...............but I wish that I also had the one referenced above.

OMG! I think IF just died and went to heaven!! Lol!!![]()

Also, doesn't it seem as if many of the MORS have a palette just lighter, softer than usual?
Pardon me, if someone has already addressed this. I would love to hear your thoughts on this, because I could be totally off base re: the pinks. Maybe all the pinks are soft, and I am confusing this with fuschia. Best and TIA
That said, the exquisite Blue in IF 's post 1496 is just exquisite.
Yes the softer, more pastel pallette is definitely a theme this season in most of the offerings.... and although I'm drawn to brights.... I am also a pastel lover in certain shades... like blue and pink....what I find interesting is that the "pink" is also soft............I am NO EXPERT on anything H, and I have not seen the "pink" MORS IRL, but to my limited knowledge aren't the H pinks usually pinkier? is the pink MORS "paler", "lighter" "softer" than typical? I think your observations are very interesting, bjostone! I'm certainly no expert on H pinks either - for years I only wore blues....![]()

In the last year or so it does seem that there have been more pinks that are either brighter fuchsia or more coral, than truly pink? I don't see that many shawls in person so would love to hear more from anyone interested.
Here's an old thread from 2008 with a bunch of various pinks:

For fun here's a collage of 'pink' cashmere shawls that I had pics of, some more successful than others. Cooler, fuchsia pinks don't work, nor do the slightly grayed or browned old rose pinks.
Row 1:
Sorry, the pale baby pink Kachinas came up twice to balance out the grid! But it's a favorite.
Tendresse Feline - very warm, peachy pink.
Marwari - a bit dull. old rose pink.
Les Danses des Indiens - soft warm pink, incredibly flattering.
Cavalcadour - really flattering pink coral, very close to Rose Jaipur
Row 2:
Tropiques - great deeper coral pink.
Grands Fonds - towards fuchsia for the border, Bougainvillea warm pink interior makes it work. (plus turquoise.)
Paperoles - true pinky pink.
Kente - pink with some lavender.
La Femme aux Semelles du Vent - border old rose with a touch of brown in it? Pretty peony pink in the border.
Row 3:
Carre en Carres - left section is Bougainvillea pink again, pale rose pink for the BdeG interior.
Lujo Criollo - stronger bright fuchsia pinks.
Marwari - Rose Indien, intense and fuchsia.
Parures des Maharajas - same.
