Greetings Lovely People--I've gone through this thread so many times over the past few years but only recently tried the 70cm size myself. Now I'm hooked! At 5'1" / 155cm this scale is perfect for me. Don't get me wrong, I have not fallen out of love with my carrés or GMs but let's just say I do have a new focus!

You can see that I've started with neutrals but I'm on the lookout for Tour les Clés in the green colorway and Claque au Vent in the white/beige so please PM me if you see these. Much appreciated!

Thank you for your inspiration!

OMG at first I thought that you had created your own giant patchwork creation the way you had your scarves laid out :p you have a great and versatile collection!

I guess that raises another question: has anyone tried to recreate their own version of the giant patchwork scarf with their 70cms? Just curious to see what combinations people would use :smile1:

Rosebud, that's funny. I must admit, when I laid them out like that the patchwork quilt concept did occur to me. I've worn 2 scarves together and think that's fun but I probably wouldn't have the nerve to actually stitch them together.

HNN & Seton--waving back and blowing big kisses your way. Please PM me if you visit this part of Alaska. I'd love to see you again. xoP

I'm reviving this thread because it's been too long since it has gotten any attention. I've become quite a fan of the 70cms and would love to share my new acquisitions from this season.

On a side note, I have tried on the patchwork 140cm scarf. The one that is made of four 70cms sewn together. The cw I saw had a lot of orange in it and while it was lovely, I could not justify the high price tag. Ouch !

Ok, the two I got from this season are aux Sports d'Hiver and Circus(was told by my SA this design was Anne Faivres first design). And a recently acquired one from the past! C'est la Fete. I waited and waited on Evil Bay until the price was right and snagged this one for $350. I figured it wasn't too shabby given that it was never worn.

Here are some pics of my new silks. If you have a new 70cm or just want to share one from your collection, I'm sure we'd all love to see it. I'm also interested to see the different ways everyone ties their 70's.

Hi MYH! I've been lurking around here looking at past posts so thanks for reviving it! I've yet to buy a 70 cm but love it since its so soft. More modeling pics please for those of us who are less creative. TIA! Gorgeous scarves by the way!

Looking great, MYH!! Sorry so late to reply somehow did not see this.
Thanks dilsta! It's winter time now in most of the country so these light and airy 70s aren't getting too much attention right now. I still adore them though and think they are a great option for dressing up an outfit when going out for dinner at a restaurant. Sometimes with the larger scarves, I fear I will drip food/sauce/wine on them because there is more material that's in the way. I think the 70s are underrated!

I am enjoying my 70's silks again with the weather warming - so terrific to wear with leather jackets too. H Comme Hermes, and Super H, along with oldie but goodie JdO. PLEASE POST THOSE FAB 70's again!

I always reach for a 70cm when I'm in shopping or gym casual mode.
Racing through London with weekend grocery shop wearing Les Mustangs by Dallet , in 70cm .

BTW This is the real me ,why do I buy 90 cm [ answer …because they are gorgeous] when I find this size perfect for the rushing around I do ?
In fact I haven't fallen in love with any of the recent 70 designs , though E*** has yielded a couple of nice ones recently !
