Thanks everyone! I wore it this morning. BEFORE the cold front blew in. Ugh. I no longer get along with any temps below 65 degrees F. And it's supposed to hard freeze here tonight. This area is just not equipped for anything below 50 degrees F! People go nuts.
So I will be wearing GM shawl tomorrow and I fear it may be a while before my 70s see the light of day for a few weeks. That's a sad, sad thing.

This is a giant mors ring... ok, it's actually the horse bit
You can u tie a 70cm carre to it, and use it as a bag to hold your shawl or maybe cardigan
or a handbag for a nice evening out with friends or DH/SO

Time for the scarf bag
Handle - Horsebit (think giant mors ring)
Scarf - Omnibus 70cm vintage
Model - DS
Scarfies, I try to do my best replicating the bag... not that great, but you should get the general idea how it is done
Items needed - I put a scarf/shawl in it to provide the bulk
Take the ends of opposite sides and do a double knot onto the rings, I tug the ends into the folds
Close up - you can tie a beautiful double which my SA did, I didn't manage to do it, forgot how to
Once you are done, spread open the scarf, and you can put anything into it and secure by tying a double knot on the other two ends (left and right of picture)
use it as carrier for your items or shawl
or hold the horsebit togather and use as an evening bag

fendibbag bought a beautiful 70cm carre during our outing. I hope she will post a picture of it!! It is such a wearable size!
