Fig, your ring is beautiful.

Lanit, this is superb on you, especially with the dressy color-blocked top. So happy for you!

Thank you to all, bluebichonfrise, lanit, etoile etc. for sharing your information.
I am tall, my neck is not thin so it seems the GM would be the better option but then it is too expensive for me at this point. Too bad H is relentlessly tempting.

Far far too many temptations, I know. Sigh...

When you're ready, I'm sure the GM will be waiting for you. In the meantime, maybe try on the MM--it just might work.

My SA showed me these silver pieces recently and I fell in love!! Not sure of the name but I got both the necklace and bracelet, though the bracelet had to be sent back to Paris to shorten it to fit my toothpick wrists. Hopefully I would be able to receive it sooon :p

blusilv, the necklace is called Parade. It does look great on you.

I second that - your hands look beautiful dear, and the Galop suits it splendidly. I wish I had those lovely tapered fingers!

Speaking of rings, I am starting to look at H silver rings as well, but would love to know which designs are the most comfortable! I am thinking of the open lace work one, but have only seen them online. I also wear an 8 or 8.5 I think. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!

Lanit, anyone, what is the name of the "open lace work" ring? Can''t think which one you are referring to.

Eagle - it is Passarelle- wondering how comfortable it is to wear.

I have the Passerelle GM ring (in a 58—a lucky find, especially as the GM is harder to find) and it's very, very comfortable.

And gorgeous Gallop GM, Lanit! :woohoo::woohoo:

I need to see the GM and MM side by side; Plumtree makes the MM look superb, and I'm nearly her size.

Yes, I think the MM would be gorgeous on you arabeques. I could not take photos of both as badly as I wanted to. Our boutique's security are always nearby and the store is small so every person is easily monitored. Keeping fingers crossed for you on your choice.:hugs:

Oh - is the 58 a size 8 or 8.5? I need to see what the correct european sizing would be! You lucky girl - as usual you find the most amazing H items!

Congratulations, blusilv, on your new Parade pieces, and thanks so much for sharing with us! I tried the Parade bracelet recently, and thought it such a fun statement piece. And very substantial, and weighty! As one would expect, there is certainly no skimping in silver weight, in their jewelry! I hope you receive your bracelet back soon, and I'd love to see modelling photos.

Thank you Maedi - and I totally agree with you - far too many temptations to lead one into dire financial straits if not careful. I had to consider the fandarole for over two years before I went for it. This one was an immediate impulse investment and gift. I would think H will continue to produce it if sales are strong enough, and it is harder to know with jewelry pieces.

So true, lanit. I need to console myself with the fact that even if one piece slips away, there will always be gorgeous H pieces. I bought my Farandole before the chunky price increase and by returning a couple of silk scarves which made it easier to stomach. The collector in me still wants a few of the H s/s scarves as well. Am eyeing your Equateur - are you getting a lot of wear out of that one and would you recommend it?
Anyway, I am really happy you have the Galop Gm necklace since it is stunning on you.:smile1:

Sorry to miss so many pages of this thread: work's been really busy of late. (Funny how work always seems to get in the way of Life, doesn't it?) Posting pics of my two Galop necklaces, MM and GM. Between the two, the MM is easier to wear but the GM...wow, that definitely has my heart.

I'm about 5' 4" FYI. Now to go catch up on the rest of this amazing thread!
Edit: wow, everyone's silver pieces are amazing. Congratulations on your GM Lanit: looks gorgeous on you. In fact, everyone's silver pieces look incredible. Sorry I can't stop to credit everyone individually...I'm running off to take the kids swimming!

you have an amazing silver collection plumtree..i finally succumb to the silver temptation..120cm farandole..such a versatile piece! do you think wearing it with the shawl is too much? i kinda like it but wasn't too sure..went out without wearing the farandole!

Love the farandole + shawl chincac, but ultimately it's what you're comfortable with. Maybe if you loop the 120 twice, it might make for a nice look too? Farandoles are really useful: I've wrapped them around 90cm carres to make necklaces, used them as bag straps. Enjoy your lovely necklace!
