Does anyone here a fan of CDC (all silver) ring?

I have one and love it. A more subtly fierce look than the CDC cuff. I just don't wear it much because it's just a half size too big. It does show marks on the underside very easily, just because of how wide and smooth the band is, so if you prefer the brand new shiny look, you'll have to be careful when you wear it (round doorknobs put the most dings on mine).

Does anyone here use the Silver Polish Spray by Tiffany to clean/polish their Hermès silver jewelry? I'm looking for a good (non-dip) cleaner to keep my Chaîne d'Ancre shiny.

Hey everyone, does anyone have any experiences with Hermes silver rings? I don't see them here on tpf.

If you have one or are interested in one, let's discuss! ;)

I had been thinking of buying a ring by Hermes for a long time and finally the other day I went to the store and tried on a couple - it was hard to find a ring in my size (58) so it boiled down to two models: Osmose GM and Good Lock. The ring I really wanted was Vertige but my store did not order it.

I bought Osmose but after several days I am thinking of returning it. My hands are small and I think the ring is too large in proportion to my fingers. I am torn because it feels great and I love the design, although it reminds me of a scarf ring. I am also not much of a ring guy, so perhaps I need to trade up to a Boucle Sellier or CDC bracelet... :confused1:

The Vertige ring is very cool but I have never seen it at a boutique. I think the Osmose ring complements you well, it's chunky. I don't know what the ring based on the Evelyn with a perforated H would look like compared with the Osmose, but one is flat and the other is chunky, it might be good to compare them if you can get the Evelyn-type ring.

For the difference in price between what I think the Osmose ring costs and what the CDC bracelet sells for, I think there is a lot of look from the CDC bracelet (which I have, so I speak from experience). The Boucle Sellier which I have had, is less look, more conservative unless you are talking about the Geant, the wide one, which is, like the CDC, a lot of look and always noticed (in my experience, as I have one of those).

That said, I think the Osmose ring looks handsome on you. There is a Osmose cuff which might be a desirable acquisition since you have the ring. These I don't have but they look scuptural and modern, so I would like to get them eventually.

Thanks for the feedback. I've decided to keep the Osmose ring, I love how it looks like liquid silver!

Hadn't thought of that (the liquid silver!)

From my experience, certain rings will complement my hand, and the rest, no way.

I think the Osmose looks really good on you.

Valmont, I like the Osmose on your hand too. I have a Lima and really like that it is open as it always fits my finger. Hermes silver rings have such a nice weight, they feel substantial without being overly bulky.

Thanks Memo, I wore it all weekend and I love it! I am already considering a second ring.

I saw Lima yesterday at the store but they didn't have it in my size -- phew! it's a great shape!

Viewwing, I have a couple of H rings. The one I like the best is the initial ring which I use as a pinky ring. It's very chunky and has a nice look. Probably could be engraved with initials, but for right now I like it plain. Also, I have the espionne ring that is like a cigar band ring with 3 rows of studs, the middle row a bit larger than the rest. This ring tends to be a little tight, less comfortable to wear than the initial ring. I used to have a kelly ring with the little purse charm but it's a tiny ring and got lost. Sold that one a long time ago.

This was my self Christmas present: a Skipper bracelet in sterling silver. What I liked about this model is that the bracelet is made of leather, not a silk cord as in other versions, so I figured out it would be longer lasting.
