Ode to Silver

I jumped onto the H silver train. Got an Ever Chaine d'Ancre. I loved the Farandole as well but have a silver Charlotte Chesnais necklace with a similar wrap and clasp style.

I'm absolutely in love with it; the shine and sound the links make if they clank together. I don't need to tell this group that H silver is sublime [emoji7]

Don't mind the sink in the background, I had just had my hair cut and the lighting in my hairdresser's bathroom was good [emoji18]

Congratulations!! I love the weight of this piece.

Dear dharma, I love the Doublering. Do I have to take the Size of the ringfinger or of the middlefinger, if I want to wear the ring on middel and ringfinger and not on the small finger! Thank you for your help.
Hi Linsi, buy the size of the larger finger, it will anchor the ring in place. This ring fits my middle and is large on the ring finger but it’s not going anywhere, the middle keeps it secure. It’s very comfortable, I wear it almost daily. Good luck!

I love this thread! I had a great time looking at all your beautiful collections. I have been scrolling to find if anybody owns a 5 bag charm bracelet? And if so, please post pics? Thoughts on owning one? Is it a good buy or is it better to buy the edgier silver cuffs? Tried to find one in this thread but I gave up scrolling after 150 pages! :) In the meantime, I would like to share one of my pieces too! Have a good day and looking forward to a reply! x

I owned the 5 bag charm bracelet a long time ago. Didn't have an H bag at that time, so that "connection" to the bracelet was missing from the get go. I thought the bracelet charms were too small for me, they got lost. What you are wearing, the Medor, etc., is very nice, fits you well and is distinctive. You will not get that striking and edgy look with a bracelet of small charms. I sold mine fairly quickly and never looked back. I may have rocks in my head but I think of charm bracelets as sentimental "souvenir" type jewelry, not at all edgy.

Thanks for your reply! So judging from your reply, it´s not a really good buy compared to the other silver cuffs of Hermes? And I guess I can´t stack them with my other bracelets too coz they will scratch the others right? So the charms are quite tiny in actual? I haven´t seen this bracelet on display in stores but only saw it online. What attracted me are the different kinds of bags in once bracelet. I thought it was cute. Do the charms scratch easily too? Thanks for the advice. Maybe I should set my sights on other designs. x

I remember the charms as small or smallish. All silver scratches over time. It can be polished but the scratches are supposed it add "patina." I like bright shiny stuff so I am not a big fan of patina. I do not think of the charm bracelet as stackable. It's not the top of the bracelet that matters like with the Mors or the CDC silver bangles, it's the drop or dangle. I supposed you could stack things but it's not going to look consistent. You have to try it. Good luck.

Thanks for your advice. I was thinking of maybe wearing it together with my Tiffany and Pandora charm bracelets but not stacking it with my Leather and silver CDC´s or Enamel bracelets I am too scared to get them scratched. Have a good day! x

Layering with other charm bracelets, now that's an idea. I think it's an editorial idea. Which means it's good b/c a magazine editor would have models wear a bunch of jewelry just to get the point across that, say, charm bracelets in particular are cool to wear. To have a charm bracelet or two on each wrist, that could be a very very good look. (It's the kind of thing I would do and have done, so naturally I like the idea :) ). It's consistent.

Buenos dias! I like the idea too! Let´s see if I chance upon a 5 bag charm bracelet on my next travel this December or otherwise I´ll see if my local SA can procure me one! I´ll surely post a pic if I found one! Gracias! x

Your hands carry of your bracelets beautifully, elegantly. Looking forward to seeing your charm collection.
(P.S., "you betcha!" is Midwestern take on "you bet" which is a Midwestern expression of great enthusiasm).
