Hi, I'm starting to collect H silver jewelry and got 2 pairs of earrings and now looking at cdc ring. May i ask if the silver tarnish like Tiffany silver? Does H help to clean the pieces at no charge (like Tiffany)?

Thanks for any info!

My oldest H silver piece is only around two years old, but it has not tarnished yet--though it has acquired a light patina, which I like. I have several older Tiffany silver pieces which tarnished much more dramatically.

I'm not sure whether H will clean them! Good question.

No it doesn't, which is why I prefer H to Tiffany silver. I don't know if H cleans jewelry like Tiffany does though, I'm guessing not.

My store definitely does clean the silver; it was mentioned to me when I bought mine - you have to ask though I'm sure every store would have that ability if they sell the pieces. They have a bath of special silver solution. I haven't seen it but my insurance valuer had a similar thing in his office last I went for an appraisal for other things.

I would love to see the debridee bracelet modeled
.
If you already have then let me know as I am loving it but have not seen one in person. H silver does not look like any other silver.

I have never worn silver before except for Yurman when the rage was to buy a bunch and stack them up. The prices were so reasonable then back in
old testament times.

Roo, thanks very much for showing all your lovelies.

I asked my store yesterday and the lovely SA told me that they use Tarn-X jewelry cleaner to clean all their silver items when they tarnish for being under the spotlights and in the windows.

Hi andee thank you for your lovely comments. There is already a great modelling picture from mihorr from the last purchase thread:

I agree that hermès silver doesn't look like other silver - it seems to have an almost molten mercury quality to it visually. Reassuringly heavy in the palm, but very comfortable to wear - so far my favourite silver piece!

All these gorgeous silver pieces are FABULOUS!!!

Thank you Hermès Nuttynut - still a fan of some of the lovely leather bracelets, but the clap and cd'a are great for stacking

Wow beautiful
. :hugs:

Wow, I LOVE that Mors de Bride pendant! I haven't seen it here in the stores at all. So cool.

Love your mors necklace too - great versatility with choice of lengths. This pendant was in a display case and only gave it a passing glance - particularly as I bought and wore the matching earrings all summer. But the lovely SA insisted I try it on and was immediately converted. I had seen it on a style Instagram page (@the_jz) - so probably a slow subconscious burn

My favorite silver polish is Twinkle, as it's very gentle, but effective. I apply it with the provided sponge, and then buff with a soft cotton cloth. As needed, I use a small horse hair brush in crevices. Then I give the item a quick clean with gentle dish soap to remove any polish residue, rinse, and dry. I've been told to avoid chemical dip type cleaners, like Tarn-X, as they are very strong. Here's a LINK to info provided by a silver restoration specialist.

Oh thank you! And thanks for this second IG shot. The pendant is so stunning in action. It's now simmering in my subconscious too (different look from the bib-style Mors, so it's perfectly sane to want to own both...right? Perfectly sane). 😬
