The butterfly backs are a pain, that's true, but they are secure and that's worth the extra effort. Just make sure to pinch them where the little levers poke out. A small pinch is all that's necessary, then slide them off while still pinching.

It takes a while to get used to the process, but now it's easy and fast.
Thank you. I will try the pinching method.Meanwhile the back to the Mors de bride loops that is shaped like a tiny ball has split in half. The SA is getting me another one from the "parts"department but that may take longer than a SO.
I love these earrings but Hermes has really made it challenging to wear them.

Thank you again. I am a bit sad.

Thank you to everybody for all this help!
I have just got the cdc yesterday!
My SA located a SH with a perfect clasp (!) and made it transfer within two weeks for me!
Size SH is perfect for my 15 cm wrist, even if it is hot, it will be able to move anyway. It not too loose either, just the RIGHT size!! (I am 17 in love bracelet, quite on the loose side, but 16 really really snug if it can help future buyers;-))
The look of this solid silver CDC is Wow!
Several ppl asked me today what was this beauty!
It is comfortable, not too much, not classic either but timeless and Hermes spirit, for sure!
I am thrilled and highly recommend this accessible piece of jewelry.

Looks beautiful! I prefer this looser fit and did it this way myself. Who wants to feel trapped by a bracelet:laugh: Happy to have helped you:smile1:

Very cute. I am eyeing the same bracelet for a while. Will definitely get it in the future.

Dear Silver Lovers,

I'm showing it with the Etcetera bracelet acquired this past Christmas, plus the Initiale GM and Vertige rings. I include a couple more pics of the Initiale ring—it's stupendous. My favorite H ring.

And last, a pic of my new-to-me Mombassa silver Neck ring. This piece is so fun to wear—so simple and yet striking—and I imagine I'll wear it lots and lots with spring and summer dresses.

Arabesque, You have inspired me to try H silver. I am having a terrible time finding any.
I would love an etcetera bracelet but no luck. no luck on any of the rings, except a big vertige for my index finger.Would love a big Initial ring too.

Just curios how does the Mombassa collar open and close?

I know you have access to the NY stores so please pm me if any rings come in and they are in a large size. I am live in a small town that has never heard of Hermes.

Really facinated by the Mombassa collar Thank you.

Thank you, Andee. You are very kind.

The Mombassa doesn't open—it simply slips onto the neck. My neck is rather thin, and even then it can "scrape". I don't mean it's painful to get on, just that it's not a large opening, so that's something to consider.

The Etcetera bracelet is very old and discontinued. I believe Madison might still have the PM version, or they did a few months back. I discovered it only because my SA knows I like the older pieces and she found it in a drawer. I encourage calling and asking about it. PM me if you would like her name. You can also ask about rings.

Calling all LOHS (Lovers of H Silver): I would love to know the proper name for this new-to-me H bangle. I've never seen anything like it..but then my knowledge of H silver history is not deep. Help! And many thanks...:flowers:

Dear Silver Lovers,

Some weeks have passed, and my silver horde grows. I've discovered some special pieces—one of them thanks to our dear DHARMA who so charmed me with her Acrobate. After seeing it, I went to my SA who was able to find the last GM bracelet in the country. I just picked it up today. I'm overwhelmed by how weighty and fluid it is.

I'm showing it with the Etcetera bracelet acquired this past Christmas, plus the Initiale GM and Vertige rings. I include a couple more pics of the Initiale ring—it's stupendous. My favorite H ring.

Oh, Arabesques, your jacket and HS and silver look fantastic! I too have the acrobate (it's a lot of look, isn't it?) and I have the initial ring that goes east-west instead of north-south, which is the more recent design. I have been imaging what my initial ring would look like with yours altho today is the first day I ever saw one (yours) being worn. May I ask the price of the ring? My initial ring is my fav, too. Oh, and imagine having 2 initial rings! (not to mention adding the bracelet).

Which bracelet is the etcetera bracelet on your hand, can you photograph that one separately either on your hand or off (whatever) b/c I too like to layer bracelets. So glad you showed your beautiful acquisitions.

Have you tried on any of the Licol designs? That design doesn't seem to be getting much traction in this thread and I'd really like to see someone model the bracelet since I haven't seen one that I could fit into.
