gracekelly, I agree with lanit that the relatively large numbers of sizes available for the narrow CDC would let you choose the fit that suits your personal preference, with the caveat that a too large bracelet will "flip" facedown and should be avoided.

I also don't like bracelets that are too snug and don't move a bit; feels constraining and on hot days I start to get a bit sweaty beneath! My SA fitted me with the ST (medium) sized narrow CDC. It fits slightly loosely on my wrist. It will slide back and forth over my wrist bone depending on how my arm is positioned. It is not a heavy bracelet so I don't even notice this but YMMV. I'd guess that if I had gone the next size down, it would fit snugly either above or below my wrist bone, if that had been the look I wanted.

I love the narrow CDC for all the reasons mentioned and recommend it highly. It is substantial enough to catch people's eye and add a bit of oomph to an dressier outfit but under-the-radar enough to wear all day too.

Thank you so much for your response! I did take the plunge and it is on the way to me now. I feel the same way about bracelets that are too tight, and one that is too tight feels like my wrist is in jail! I am in-between sizes and opted to get the larger one for me especially since I am right handed and will wear on the right wrist. Since it is adjustable, I can always use the smaller hole.

I like the fact that is is a stand alone or can be combined. I look forward to trying it out with other H silver pieces like my chaine d'ancre and printed enamels. Love to stack!

Now I have my eye on the hoops that were posted several months ago. *sigh*

Hi laurenccharly, I tried to PM you but your inbox is full I think. Anyway, regarding your question with the narrow silver cdc, I have a medium sized one, and my wrist is 16cm. I tried the small size beforehand but it was a little snug, and this was already when my wrist has "swollen up". I just took this mod shot to show you, hope it helps.

Did you try the small size? It might be more comfortable for you.
Let me know what you decide. Goodluck!
Thank you so much, it is just beautiful! I love it so so much!
I ended up with a credit note at H. as I was not able to choose... the right size! I must come back this we at the boutique! I send you a PM.

Regards,

My CDC arrived today! What a stunning bracelet and easy on the wrist. Tried it with my Espionne and the C en C ring and my chaine d'ancre. Love Hermes silver! Big thank you to S'Mom with her excellent instruction about how to open the bracelet. Perfect!

Hi there!
I went to Hermes this WE in Geneva and I tried the SH and ST size of the CDC! SH is enough, definitely for my 15 cm wrist. It slides well up and down my arm, very nicely. I thought ST was a bit to big and will flip.
I also noticed, CDC owners, that the clasp has this feature (see pic):
The "shank" of the clasp seats right at the bottom of the gap, and not in the little hole, of the entry, as the CDC bracelet I tried on in France and I judged too small at this stage; this position (which should be I think the right position for locking the clasp actually) allows me to get more room in the bracelet, and to be more comfy (I get few millimeters) than with the one I tried before. For the first one, the clasp seated in the hole, so this way made the bracelet a tad shorter.
Do you know what I mean?
I know, I am quite fussy, but I really feel the difference between the two ones, even if it is exactly the same size!! (Also, it was 38 degrees when I tried on first! So I was swelling!!)
Where do your clasp seats ladies?!!

Thank you dear for all the (beautiful) pics of the now famous narrow CDC and your help concerning the size, it was so helpful!
I must get mine next week, cause infortunately, I went to Geneva to try on as I was there on week end, but my Hermes credit note only works for Hermès France:-((
But now, I am sure about the size and fit (see my post regarding the clasp issue LOL;-))
Have a lovely day!

We've seen some beautiful pieces from the new collection on the hands and wrists of beautiful members. Lanit, that CdC is the perfect weight between delicacy and statement.

I was able to view several more pieces from the Mors de Bride collection this afternoon. One was the most stunning bib-style necklace with multiple chains (the longest can be attached or not depending on the grandeur level you're going for). I didn't expect to adore it, but when on, I fell in love immediately. It did not come home with me (it's quite cher), but some amazingly fortunate woman will have this in her collection.

I also saw the other pendant style necklace which has more of a square-ish effect. I'm not sure about its weight . . . it would need a body structure different than mine to make it shine.

And finally, I saw the earrings. The one pair arrived just as I was sitting there, which was fortunate indeed as a clamoring has begun around them. My SA was so kind to pull them fresh out of the packaging. I wasn't sure if I'd be wooed . . . but as soon as I saw them on, I was over the moon.

They are smaller than I anticipated them being, but very sturdy, and the feel like air when worn. And when one walks, they shimmer! These are the perfect more-casual companion to the Licol earrings from last spring's collection. Mors de Bride GM earrings.

I keep coming back to look at these as I am fascinated by these earrings. They are so different.

I have these earring and the mors de bride loops. I just can't get them on are off.
I love them but practically have to tear my ear off to remove them.
Do you have a secret to getting the backs off? Thank you.

The butterfly backs are a pain, that's true, but they are secure and that's worth the extra effort. Just make sure to pinch them where the little levers poke out. A small pinch is all that's necessary, then slide them off while still pinching.

It takes a while to get used to the process, but now it's easy and fast.
