Thank you, Newtohermes! I'm sorry I missed replying, but I am not in the United States. I am still wondering why no one else from TPF has shared or posted another PdS CSGM since I did, unless H released only a few shawls globally in December and is still making them.
Oh litchi, what a beautiful shawl! I am terribly late to the Parure de Samouraïs party but when I saw the silk scarf on the Hermès online store last summer, the cws didn't do anything for me. A couple of months later I discovered this wonderful forum and all your lovely photos of this design. But when I had finally fallen in love with it, the colourways that I liked most were all gone from the stores. How come that Hermès takes the most unflatterig pictures of their magnificent scarfs and shawls?
Now I'm looking for cw 5 on the internet but the ones popping up at eBay usually cost almost twice as much as their official price tag or they look fake. I suppose this design and this cw must be very interesting for forgers...
When browsing through eBay I came across this CSGM:

It looks like an exact copy of the silk cw 5 - but I cannot remember having seen that colourway posted on the spring scarfs thread. I suppose many are looking for this cw in this format so I was wondering if somebody who is not Hermès got creative... And yet, it sold.

I hear you on the search for 05. I’ve been looking for that one myself for a while now and it’s nowhere to be found. Hopefully, there’s another cw that can soothe your heart... There are definitely still some out in stores! Good luck!
I can only imagine that someone wanted a CSMG in this cw so badly that the buyer didn't even take the time to find out if this cw existed in this format in the first place. Do you think I should post this on the ebay faktes thread or is this thread only for auctions that are still underway?
It's good to know that I am not the only one still looking for this cw. I suppose some cws are quite hard to catch when even someone like you with your marvellous scarf collection doesn't have it yet. Good luck to you, too!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Parures de Samouraïs 90cm silk. I hope you still find one! I've learned not to trust the H website photos, especially of silks as the colours are sometimes (oftentimes?!) off! It's best to see the scarves in the boutique or from photos courtesy of our scarf-loving community here.
I agree with @Joannadyne and @hannahsophia that that fake shawl is a terrible deception! I feel sorry for the buyer.
A simple comparison photo of the PdS cw 05 in 90cm silk and the shawl in cashmere-silk. Both are blue Samouraïs!
