Fantastic!!! Thanks for the photos.....those of us who live far, far away get to enjoy the exhibition too!

Of course, dear Pautinka!! I was told that part of the full collection is traveling so you never know if it will be near you! In fact, the actual armor, literally represented in the scarf, is in Phoenix right now!

Ooh! Thank you for sharing more photos from the exhibit. Look at those details. Just beautiful, especially with your scarf highlighted under the booklet.

Thank you for the compliments! I was so intrigued by the details. Here are s few more pics- I think you will see some of these details in the scarf!

This is great, csetcos! Did you both take a scarf-on-site photo? ;)

Litchi!! Dear @scndlslv took one of me. I was on a work trip and didn't have my Samurai scarf and scndlslv could not get the Samurai yet because the Dallas store has a huge event on Wednesday celebrating this design. So they are withholding sale of this design until the event.

Here I am with work clothes and a Constance wallet, though!!!IMG_1494133447.119502.jpg

Beautiful scarf. I finally got to my local Nordstrom store to take a picture of it for you today. It was hard to get the colors accurately. You had better lighting than I did. My Zeta arrived last week along with the light blue PP. I am going to see if I can load the Zeta from my phone. It is really an intellectual scarf and is quite vibrant.

I can't wait to see Zeta pics. I think that's also a beautiful scarf for very different reasons and looks. I really love the black/grey/white.

Thank you for sharing all beautiful pics csetcos [emoji173]️

I just ordered my second scarf and it's my second samurais, the gorgeous cw 7 that I remember Croisette posting with beautiful details. Hoping for a GMCS in spring 2018.

After seeing @Joannadyne's posts, I was determined to see the Samurai Collection in Dallas.

I spent the afternoon with the lovely @scndlslv and had an amazing time. When you see the collection, it's super clear where the inspiration and designs come from. Aline Honoré knocked it out of the park.

We saw lots of armor that had the colors from 05. I now have 5 CWs and I do think 05 is the most literal from the collection.

Btw- you would never know there was a Samurai Museum in this building!!! It's above the St Ann restaurant and behind a building owned by the purveyor of the collection. Such a hidden gem!View attachment 3690528View attachment 3690529View attachment 3690530

Ohhhh! I'm so glad you were able to go! It's really amazing, isn't it, the level of detail that goes into each suit of armor and how literal (and literally amazing!) Honore's design is. I agree that cw5 is the most true to life in terms of color. I meant to ask the museum staff if the dyes/colors used carried any significance.

Also, I wonder if they've gotten a nice boost in attendance now that the scarf has been out for a few months. I hope so - it was completely empty when I went, although granted it was a Tuesday, iirc. [emoji4]

And I can't believe the Dallas store STILL isn't selling the scarf! They told me the same thing about holding all of them for an exclusive event and wouldn't sell to me because of it. This was early March... weird. Maybe it's two events??

In any case, loved your photos, and am so glad you enjoyed it!

I'd like to contribute my Samouria cw14...i really think this cw is underestimated..
 it alot! Thank you for letting me share!

Gorgeous red border! I'd easily love to own all the cw. So nice to see them in action here. I got 3 and ordered a fourth cw. Not in my usual silk habits at all. It's the perfect combination of the colors along with very detailed and decorative graphics and the historical reference behind that makes the difference ! Or I'm just nuts of course.

This may be my last Samourai (cw 04). I find it perfect in its balance of colours. The people who decide on H scarf colourways are inspired geniuses!

Dear Litchi, isn't this CW gorgeous and subtle?! I did not know I would want this, until I saw it in real life and it was a no brainer...
I think we are Quadruple(!!!!) twins on the Samouraïs that we own... :-)

You are going to laugh. I told them that another friend of mine had been to the museum and started describing you. They said they must not have been working but I think they feel they missed out!!! [emoji23]

Celebrity sighting! :coolio:
Maybe the museum could procure a PdS scarf to display as part of the exhibit.

Happy to be twins with you, Pegase! I think cw04 even complements the colours in your avatar.

Thanks @csetcos for introducing me to this awesome collection and museum in my own backyard. Who knew?! I'm looking forward to attending the event on Wednesday and buying my first Hermes scarf. I see a new addiction on the horizon. Thanks a lot! :)

My pleasure to enable you!!! Please share stories and tell us all about the event! So excited for you!!!
