Greetings from Paris [emoji173]️ I've been silently lurking in this tread, thinking a 90cm is too small for me, never bought one but do have 3 that I've inherited. After seeing how gorgeous they look in reality, the details of this design and the colours, I finally pulled the trigger. My sweet SA showed how you can fold the silk, it was amazing how she just pulled out the cws ( all except this one) and the yellow/silver/gray and put them on the counter on top of eachother, layer after layer of gorgeous silk. Then she went to the stockroom and pulled out the one I bought, I'm very happy and go home with my scarf app and cards to practise [emoji1]

By the way e v e r y o n e in Paris wears some sort of shawl/scarf, men included, so I blend better into the crowd having this around my neck and it complements my new bag too

Bonjour Serva! Welcome to the club. It must have been heaven seeing the silky pile of Samourais in front of you . I know I have admired all the cw I have laid eyes on even if they are not my colouring. I am hoping to see more soon.

Looks like a fruitful trip to Paris. I see you brought some goodies home. Pray tell all of them : I spy the BBB (25? 30?) and some bangles too. Is the hat H too?

Thank you litchi, now I'm hoping for a 140cm silk [emoji173]️ in this design or CSGM, love the pattern so much and who doesn't love samuraijs, kimonos and pretty tassels [emoji1]

Oh dear, I think you're not the only one[emoji2]. Twins on your gorgeous cw05!
I'm dreaming of a monochromatic CSGM in black-neutrals[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

I have been told no Smourais CSGM for A/W 17 and this is quite certain. Crossing fingers for SS'18! (which would leave our money tree more time to grow!)

Thank you Pautinka, I wanted to celebrate my new bag by choosing a scarf/shawl, because I don't use twillies so much anymore.

Thank you ms piggy, you are always so sweet! It's a 30 and the bangles are old but the KDT is new ( box of course). The summer hat was a lucky find too, love the model [emoji3]

Think this is my favourite way just now for tying my 90s. By tying at the back in a triangle then tying the two bits at the front it gives loads of material at the front to show off pattern and colour......a definite bonus with Samourai! I think it almost looks like a 140.
With regards to stiffness I have to say that this one (black) is nowhere near as stiff as my orange one. The orange one has a completely different feel to it and is much scrunchier.

I absolutely love how you tied this, is there a post anywhere that I have missed which explains how it is done, or would you please be able to provide further details on how you did it, thank you

Thank you Sandy777. Just fold in half into a triangle and tie behind your neck. Then take each front "triangle" end and tie into a half knot. You can tie it as high up or low down as you wish to give the effect you want. Then just tie again to complete your full knot to hold it together. Very simple! [emoji4]
