Dear Lanit and Balihai, so nice to be back! Thank you both for the tips on watermarking. I have a Mac and will have to figure it out.
Lanit, you look so chic, and that bangle is TDF! The combination of the b/w 90 and the bracelet is amazing. I am trying to ignore the lure of the bangle as I am on an official LFASV ban!

Balihai, I cannot wait to see the pics from your trip. I am afraid that I have not taken any action pics, it was too hot to take the scarves out, even for a photo. I am going back to France in the Fall, and will take some then, even though going to paris is not quite as exciting as your trip, or Birkinmary's amazing Grand Canyon LFASV shot!
If we collect enough travel pics, à la Amélie Poulain's garden gnome, we should try putting them all in a book, wouldn't that be fun?

MonsacH-I have figured out the watermarking (at least adding text) part on a Mac in Preview. Open your photo in Preview, select Annotate (Drag open drop down window and choose Note, then drag cursor over the area on the photo you want your text to appear. Voila! Here is the Preview help window to assist everyone. Your shawl is beautiful dear-the bangle can wait, but have been told that they are getting hard to find in the b/w in U.S. The bangle is now three seasons old! I have found SushiQ's bangle but it is a PM and I need to check if I can get into it. When I last tried on a PM extra wide, had no stocking around and could not get it over my hand as it was late in the afternoon. Fit over the left hand though. I have other 2.5" bracelets that fit fine, it must be the extra width of the bracelet that makes it a bit harder to squeeze through. I shall abandon if it is too painful! A snap in the fall will be wonderful!

Balihai-so looking forward to your snap for our traveling LaFemme album-that sounds like a fabulous trip!

MonsacH - Love your new GM - I have the 90cm in fuschia and love it! Would love to see pics of your travels!
lanit - :ty: for showing us how to watermark with a Mac - I have been trying to find a simple way to do this for ages - I was doing the same as you, in Photoshop - but if I'm impatient to post I just skip it! Your salutory lesson on the need to watermark, combined with your straightforward how-to - well I have no excuse now!

I'm afraid that it's going to be waaay too hot/humid/dirty to wear my beloved shawl but I *really* want it for the long flight.

I think it would be amazing to gather the traveling pics in an album - too bad papertiger can't take all the pics, how amazing would that be?!

Stock alert - Harrods still have brown cw and H Bond St has the orange. I'm getting worried I'll never find the purple La Vie du Grand Nord please let me know if you see one!!

Leave it home. Take a nice, but older sweater with you to wear on the plane or on your trip. It is too expensive an item to risk IMO considering where you are going. I have a black cashmere cardie that must be 20 years old and it has been around the world with me.

This is why you need a LaFemme bangle! Or, H needs to make a LFASV twilly or pochette for us on-the-go ladies! Balihai-perhaps for an autumn trip or scene when weather permits-it can be closer to home!

after mulling over this for what felt like years, after wanting one in fuchsia since before they arrived at the stores.... i finally am waiting for a red one to come my way  i have been lurking here to admire everyone's lovely pieces  can't wait to get mine.... :D thanks to my H angel :flowers:

gracekelly if I don't heed your advice I will probably regret it...I'll think about some other way to incorporate LFASDV into my travels....

bagpunk I know you've been looking for this and I'm so thrilled that you found one, LFASDV always finds her seeker!! Looking forward to seeing your pics and welcome to the "club"!

I absolute love everyone's beautiful shawls, scarfs and bangles. I am really excited because this is my first Hermes shawl and I wanted to get a pattern I really loved. I purchased this about two weeks ago, but took me that long to learn how to watermark LOL. At the time Hermes Madison Ave. also had the shawl in black, brown and orange and quite a few large bangles (I didn't see any extra large but sounds like Lanit was lucky to scoop up of the last ones).

So here she is my LFASDV shawl in the black colorway!
