I have a strap that’s 105 cm but I regret getting it instead of the shorter one. It is too long on me even wearing cross body unless I have a thick winter coat. For your reference I’m 163 (5’3) tall.

I think it’s too long for you, you can have shorten by taking it to Hermes.

Does anyone have experience wearing your K25 sellier crossbody with longer strap (105) or know where to find pictures? I'm debating whether or not I want to order one with longer strap or keep it the standard length.

I’m sorry to hear you regret the longer strap. Do you have a picture? I’m only 5’4” which is close to your height. I’m wondering now if it’s even possible to have a length that can work as both (long shoulder carry and shorter crossbody). Maybe it only works if the strap is shortened?

I will try to take a photo in the coming days! I’m stuck at home with my kids as the schools are closed for 2 weeks...

Its just my personal feeling though, I’m not a fan of long strap and think the original 85 cm is the best length for kelly.

I have a Kelly Sellier 25 with the standard length strap and it is a little awkward wearing it crossbody because the stiff bag handle hits you at a weird spot. It’s possible, just a little awkward. I’m very petite by the way, so it would be even more awkward on an average height person.

I agree with you. But my personal preference is that sellier Kelly looks best on the shoulder or hand held. The rigid form seems a bit odd when wearing cross body (except mini Kelly). I think retourne Kelly looks better if wearing cross body. Just my opinion though

I got the strap late last year and I was thinking to wear it outside of my winter jacket so I went for 105 cm. But if I could choose again I’ll probably go for 85 cm...so I use the original strap much more than this. It’s a bit pity as I really like the combination of the strap and my k25.

Thank your dear and I’m glad to share I think 105 cm is still good if you want to wear cross body but if you have the possibility to get a 85cm I think it will be great too!
