I am in the same "predicament" I actually have an SO coming - a K25 sellier- and so I spend my time trying to decide do I want a 25 or a 28 for my retourne. Such problems!! ( but I DO understand exactly what you are worried about, as I think about that as well. At this point I am leaning toward a 28 for the retourne, but really need ( AGAIN!!) to put them both on and see how it looks. Not that an offer is going to come any time soon, as I am very specific about what I want. Hmmmm...
Oh I get it I’m so specific too. I have an entire wishlist “planned” but I have decided on k28 for Retourne........for now because I was offered a beautiful k25 sellier in rose extreme and I was just so in love. I know I’ll end up with a k25 Retourne and a k28 sellier too later on down the track. I did post photos of a k25/28 comparison earlier, maybe you can work backwards and decide on what you may not want? Good luck deciding!
I want to piggyback on your statement, I read one person here befofe-after much deliberation and change of mind, she said the best way to go is K28 sellier and K25 retourne for one's personal collection. I'm guessing because K25 gives that cramped, much smaller effect as a sellier. So a retourne version will be cooler and with the ability of extra space. For K28 I guess you don't wanna go bigger so a sellier boxy shape for that one.
Hmmm...I feel the opposite. Because sellier looks bigger than retourné, à K25 sellier to me looks perfect and In 28, a retourné is still small in appearance but deceptively roomy. Also the 25 in a sellier can go out at night in a pinch as the shape is a little more formal. of course .... having all four is ideal

Loving this thread. I too was torn on my mini-Sellier or Retourne. When offered my SO I went for the Kelly 25 Retourne in Evercolor. I have to say I LOOOVE it. Really can't go wrong either way. I have a Sellier in Epsom in a 28 and love that as well. Here's my new goldie

Loving this thread. I too was torn on my mini-Sellier or Retourne. When offered my SO I went for the Kelly 25 Retourne in Evercolor. I have to say I LOOOVE it. Really can't go wrong either way. I have a Sellier in Epsom in a 28 and love that as well. Here's my new goldie
I chose Geranium for the inside. I love her
