A novice question: do you add soles to your brand new Hermes shoes? Typically I don't and only re-sole them when the original soles have worn out but I'm wondering if sole-ing them at the start helps the shoes last longer.
I don’t. These hermes shoes and sandals last a long time and I have never had to resole any. There are other brands that I immediately had to resole because they are slippery but that has not happened with any of my H shoes.

HI! Help. Dying for the Oran sandals in Croc. and the Ostrich ones. Does anyone own them? Do they stretch? Blisters? Wear and tear? Please help me decide. Thanks!

I have the Orans in Ostrich and really like them. They definitely have a wearing in period though. I had to wear them twice for a couple of hours at a time before they became comfortable. Now they’re very comfortable since they have stretched a bit and I can wear them without worrying that they will become uncomfortable after a few hours of wear.

Hello everyone!!

I am trying to decide between 3 sandals. Please give me any feedback on comfort, as I don't live near a store to try in person! My store is a flight away! Not doing That right now.. so any input is appreciated!

I'm deciding between Santorini, Avenue, or Alba. Thoughts?
TIA

HI! I am not sure how much this will help, but its a start. I have the Oran Sandals in 3 different types of leather and the Ancone espadrille and the Paris Loafer. For me comfort was more about the leather and where the shoe hit my foot than anything else. Since this is personal its going to be difficult to give recommendations. But here goes. Both one pair of Oran sandals and the Ancone espadrilles are made from Nappa leather. It is supper soft and comfortable no "break in period" ( for me at least and I have HORRIBLE FEET). One pair of Orans are in goat, and they are super comfy too stretch a little less then the Nappa but are buttery soft. I have one pair in Box leather, those were the most rigid( not as hard as epson, those are a no go for me) they took a couple of wears but eventually the leather stretched and I had no issue with comfort. Another pair in calfskin and those fit ( for me atleast) similar to a Chanel type leather shoe( for me Chanel NEVER hurts and NEVER needs break in period they conform to my feet without a second thought, even the patten leather ones!)My girlfriend has shoes in suede goatskin and she says they are soft and comfy. She also has Ostrich and she says those are definitely more rigid and harder to walk in, but they do break in. My suggestion to you is order all three in your size( the loafers I went half size up, but everything else I am true to size in, oh and the boots I went half size up..I have wider feet). Thats the only way and be aware they are amazing leather shoes they will give and stretch so don't be afraid if they feel a little tight. As long as the length works you should be fine. Good luck! Let us know what you get!

Yes, Epson will really hurt. Its a great leather for wear and tear but doesn't stretch. I just got the nappa ones in Rose Dorie yesterday and they are like butter! Like wearing slippers.(for me atleast)the color is amazing. The store lights do not do it justice. Its can be worn as a neutral, it changes color. Really a great color/leather combo. Good luck, let us know.( oh and my very HONEST SA, and she is just absolutely wonderful SA, told me that the denim/fabric ones will not stretch and she said the leather much better, cause I originally wanted the denim ones).
