Hi Ladies, may I ask if anyone has experience with sneakers made of epsom leather? I want to purchase the Voltage sneaker but I see it is epsom and not calfskin. I just think of epsom leather as rigid and wonder about the longevity in a sneaker.
I bought a pair of silver Voltage (will post separately) and have only worn them few times but so far all good. Was afraid of rubbing or leather creases darkening, but I cannot detect anything at this point. I went back and forth between those and a silver pair of Polos in Swift and with the latter, my SA recommended not to take them as the leather already starter creasing horribly. Just one thing to consider - the Epsom Voltage are a bit hard and stiff in the beginning but they didn’t rub my feet. Just not used to it.

Thank you I appreciate your feedback, your shoes are all so stunning! I also have a pair of metallic silver running shoes from Hermes (can't remember style) but are calfskin. I love wearing them, love the shininess. Thanks for your thoughts on the epsom, I will definitely go into the store and try them on.

Thank you! I have a sweet spot for everything silver/metallic, so the current H sneaker offers made my heart sing. Curious to see how you like them - I find the Voltage slightly more comfortable than the Polo sneakers, but make sure you try the Epsom version on a bit longer as the shoes simply don't bend, so you need to get a feeling for it.
