Hi everyone,
This is my first post and it's a question!
I was wondering if you know whether the Oran sandals come in different leathers...I mean aside from the obvious croc one. I ask because I have a pair of Orans which are incredibly uncomfortable - they are stiff, the sole is very very stiff and they give me blisters. This year Hermes came out with these new dual color ones, pink and black and they are sooo beautiful, I want them. I am just worried they will end up unworn as my current orans...I wonder if they come in different leathers, because some members describes their orans as 'buttery soft' and mine were anything but!

They do come in different leathers. I own two pairs in calf leather. They are not stiff but not buttery soft either. The stiff ones you described are probably in Epsom leather.

Thinking of getting these Hermes Legend wedges. How's the wear and tear? Are they comfy? Is the price worth it? Thank you guys sooo much!View attachment 4393910

Yes 100% a good buy! I have legend with the studs version so slightly more expensive, but I find them very comfortable, the studs are so pretty and no fallouts, Imo they’re more comfier and better buy than oran sandals, plan to add a few more variations!

I agree completely. The Legend is my favorite H sandal. They are very comfy and the perfect heel height. I have them in black and plan to buy gold soon as well.

Dear all, I need your advice on my Ostia sandal.

I bought it in June and wear it regularly. Today, to my horror, I notice a small part of the sandal are started to crack and peel. This is more obvious on the right while left is started to shown some crack sign too.
Is this consider normal wear and tear? [emoji28] View attachment 4212545View attachment 4212547
Hi all, juts to update - I am back after long wait of my shoes since they were sent to Paris for assessment in Oct 2018.
My SA called me finally. Some of the tpf members are right here - this is cause by wear and tear! (Well, I am abit shock because the shoes are not cheap and the fact that I own the shoes for just few months. Although I must admit that I wear them very often - as in like once a week.)
So I think there isn't anything more I can do now. Thanks for all the concern and support from our lovely ladies here. :flowers:

I agree with all the positive reviews of these wedges. I have several pairs and I LOVE them! The oldest pair I own (ombre lizard) is about 7-8 years old and they are still in fabulous condition. Get a good color and you'll wear them for years!

I just got my first pair of orans and they are in patent epsom.. i like my heel to have a little room in the back of a slide so i went with my normal size.. a 37.. the SA told me it shouldnt really stretch.. they arent tight.. but now after reading through posts im scared they wont be comfortable at all.. i fell in love with the color!

Stopped by my local Hermes store the other day before work and saw these Rivoli mules! Because I had only a couple minutes to kill before work I didn't have time to give them a try and my regular SA just recently left the store (I only own two pairs of Hermes shoes and don't stop by too often so I'm not really familiar with any of the other staff members). I did end up speaking with a new SA and have put a pair in my regular size on hold, but I just wanted to ask how comfortable these are and if the sizing runs normally (I currently own the Oran's in gold and the pink and black Rebus sneakers both in size 39, but my foot is a bit wider and I have a pretty high instep so I sometimes have to go a bit bigger). Thanks in advance!
