as the Orans are usually in demand

[emoji119] Congrats! I love Chèvre leather for shoes ever since I purchased Paris moccasin. They are soft and parts of the leather is unprocessed and hence has a “vintage” leather look. [emoji175] [emoji175] [emoji175]

Although my SA said this mules’ cutting is bigger than usual (hence, I took half size smaller), I do not find it broaden my feet.

Are your Paris moccassins comfortable in the forefoot area?

YES!! I am really surprised how comfy. I think they might run a bit wide. I usually take a 38, but I needed a 37.5 in these. I highly recommend them and am really hoping they'll be offered in additional colors.

How long do you think sizes will last? That day I couldn't wait around and see if they had the half size

I would snap they up asap, but I'm in Australia where these and the Neo are very hard to get. My store - didn't even bother putting them on display, they were just offering them to select clients first

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to get some feedback from any Oran owners out there...

I purchased a pair of Oran sandals last week (my first Hermes shoes), and after wearing them once very briefly, I noticed a pretty significant crack in the first layer of the sole of the right shoe (see attached photos). This didn't look right to me, so I wrote to Hermes customer service about the issue and received this response:

"The sole of the Oran sandal is made with several layers of leather and on the inside of each sole, there is a gap where the leather comes together. What you are seeing is not a defect but part of the construction of the shoe. Unfortunately, as the shoes have been worn, we are unable to accept them back for refund or exchange, as all items must be in brand new condition to be eligible. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us."

Their response seemed very dismissive to me, so I wanted to see if any of your Orans have had a similar issue. Is it common to have this type of "gap" in the sole? If so, I'm somewhat disappointed with the quality...

Can I ask if the crack on the sole got worse? I have the same crack on my right shoe as well. I only wore them for 1 hour
