Thank you! :flowers: Haha, you're good!!! I am very tempted since I do not own a cape but I'm in the process of cleaning out my closet and adding a new item is what my DH calls counterproductive . Enjoy your beautiful cape
Thank you! :flowers:
Ahahaha:lol: That's the ONLY reason why we clean out our closets! To make room for new things!!!
I'll be waiting for your post with your new cape!!:yahoo:

Howdy!
So I have to warn you; I am terrible in taking photos! And this cape looks different depending on how you wear it so not sure how to take pics. If there's anything you would like to see that I miss, please let me know!
Here's some FYIs:
**I received grey/dark green color on cashmere side. The one I got is 80% cashmere, 20% wool, and 100% silk (scarves). This color was not shown on the website.
**The size is 65" x 55.5" (approx 154cm x 141cm)
** Compared to Rocabar or Casaque ponchos, its thinner.

This is so true!!!!

Does the silk side slip when worn on the inside or does it stay in place. I am a huge fan of the insouciant French shawl flip on others. On me I can’t stand when the thing falls down.

Would you mind describing how fidget free wearing is.

Looks so good on you!

Hi! Not sure if you are referring to the cape that I posted with silk scarves?or the one with the lizard/croc closure?
If its the one with silk scarves (not lizard/croc closure one), then I believe it can be belted. In comparison, it is thinner then the Rocabar or Casaque Ponchos. If you are use to belting capes, then this one should work.
For me, I have misplaced my waist somewhere back in the nineties so I don't think I can wear it belted
HTH!:flowers:

Hahahha! Your misplaced waist!

I meant the Rocabar... I tried it on and thought it looked so smart. And versatile. And easy to look cleaned up while basically wearing your pjs underneath. All signs pointing to yes!

My SA said I had to wear heels or riding boots with it but.... nahhh!

Thank you very much for your compliments!
And thanks you for your very good question! I haven't thought about it cuz I'm still starry eyed with this cape!
So I tried it on both ways and walked around to see how it stays put (I wore it over my 100% cashmere sweater):

*** Silk inside: The cape stays put on shoulders and does not fall off at all! Its very good. When I threw the bit at the front that you throw over your shoulder going around my neck with the silk side down (touching the cashmere side on my shoulder) it seems to slip off. I twisted that bit so that the cashmere side is sitting on cashmere side, then it stays put. I think its because the cape is a generous size so the material has weight to it to keep it in place. Its also very pretty this way.

** Cashmere inside: Amazingly, the cape stays put and does not slide off. Again, I think it is because of the cut and the generous amount of material. If I wrap the bit that you throw over your shoulder at the front HIGH around my neck, then it stays put . I think its because there is enough material hanging at the back to keep it there. If you wear it loose, it does slip off (I think its because of silk on silk).

I very much look forward to you posting your cape!

Yesss! I think I misplaced my waist when I was at a buffet. BUT, I did find another chin!
Naaaaah, You can wear it with anything! PJs included! I tried on the Rocabar too! Its so lovely!
I love all "All-You-Can-Eat" clothing!
I thought I could use it as a throw too! I was procrastinating over Rocabar, then I saw this scarf/cashmere one and my fingers just pressed "buy" without my knowing....naughty fingers!
You can wear this or Rocabar with ANYTHING! You won't regret it!
Don't forget to post when you get it!!!~~~:graucho:

Yes, each cape is unique and, its a bit of gamble...You won't know the color of the cashmere nor the scarves cw until you receive it. I was okay with the 3 color choices (or close colors), so that is why I decided to get it. when you get one:rolleyes:, please post pics!

Hahahaha you crack me up!!!! I love it.

I’m the same. It’s all about the “all you can eat” wear. Belts come flying off about mid-day for me.

I’ll be back with updates! Wish me luck. :D
