Thank you very much for your compliments!

And thanks you for your very good question! I haven't thought about it cuz I'm still starry eyed with this cape!
So I tried it on both ways and walked around to see how it stays put (I wore it over my 100% cashmere sweater):
*** Silk inside: The cape stays put on shoulders and does not fall off at all! Its very good. When I threw the bit at the front that you throw over your shoulder going around my neck with the silk side down (touching the cashmere side on my shoulder) it seems to slip off. I twisted that bit so that the cashmere side is sitting on cashmere side, then it stays put. I think its because the cape is a generous size so the material has weight to it to keep it in place. Its also very pretty this way.

** Cashmere inside: Amazingly, the cape stays put and does not slide off. Again, I think it is because of the cut and the generous amount of material. If I wrap the bit that you throw over your shoulder at the front HIGH around my neck, then it stays put . I think its because there is enough material hanging at the back to keep it there. If you wear it loose, it does slip off (I think its because of silk on silk).
