I wear mine on every flight I take. All over Europe and the US. ((That is, since I got it))
It is beyond perfect for travel...easy on/easy off, can be used as a blanket, I've even balled it up and used it as a pillow. [emoji15]

It doesn't wrinkle easily, so it always comes out looking no worse for wear!

I've gotten many complements and asked where to get one. The most memorable was after a long oversees trip (I felt like crap) and beautiful lady chased me down to tell me I was the chicest lady in the airport, lol! A very high complement!! [emoji5]

I only have my one blue/navy and really really want to get another color, but mine is still in such great shape that I can't justify another. [emoji177][emoji26]

New to poncho-land. Trolled this forum for weeks and learned so much from all you lovely ladies and gents sharing your insight- from how to wear it, how not to worry about my height (or lack thereof), the cross-body Evelyne look, and more importantly the "cashmere wrap" spin. Ended up with the Racobar in Rouge H and the Alamo in navy/black. As luck would have it, we are having a mini heat-wave in DC, but poncho- em "cashmere wrap" - weather is just around the corner! Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for sharing, and enabling!

FYI. tPF friends! Looks like this beauty is finally available on US H.com. I'm gonna grab one right now! Who's gonna join me? :coolio::graucho::happydance:

I'm so torn. I can't decide on this one or Rocabar H Red. I' be been sitting on the fence. May be I would ask my DH for his help.

I enjoyed reading your story. I could only imagine how great you must have looked that day to receive such a great compliment from a beautiful lady that had to chase you down. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you dear! How are you? Hope you are doing well!

It was quite a memorable event...being extremely tired and jet lagged, I thought something was wrong. It took me a long moment to realize what she was saying! I was utterly confused and I think(hope) I mumbled a "thank you". As she walked away, it finally sunk in what she was saying, lol!

To stay on topic, I still only have my one poncho, but I put a little hint in my DH's ear!! I think he may have gotten another color for me!! Although, I'm finding it very difficult to decide between the red/orange or the grey/beige....

As for storage, my SA asked if I wanted a box & dust bag -or- a hanger & garment bag. I picked the latter. Let me see if I can take a pic.

Anyone on the shorter side who has pictures to share? Am in love with the idea of the poncho, but it seems really big, with a lot of material!

I don't have photos but I recently purchased the ltd. ed. Bivouac(as posted by Marvelgirl above). I am 5 feet flat on a good day and was apprehensive about the ponchos for all the reasons mentioned already in this thread having to do with my shorter stature. Went to my local boutique to ask my SA if we can bring some in to try, but to my surprise they had all 4 versions - the Rocabar in both the fall cw IF wears so well along with rouge version, the minimalist Alamo in black/navy, and the Bivouac. For me, because of the way the segments of color break up the expansive shape/form of the poncho, the Bivouac is the style that proves wearable despite my being umm, vertically challenged [emoji28] I wanted to get the blue/black minimalist version as well, unfortunately the swath of navy makes me look like Frodo/Samwise on their LOTR journey garb [emoji52]. Noteworthy is the Bivouac's multi color panels - the grey and gold sections are large enough to set the tone for your odj palette and coordinate with either warm or cool color tone of your bag or accessories choice. And those tassels! Sigh....

@scholastican , thanks for your detailed reply! I can imagine how the color segments on the Bivouac break up the expanse of fabric. Did the Rocabar color segments do the same as well? Am trying to decide between the two styles!

Rocabar has the stripes closer to the edge of the poncho, to me it's more of an interesting detail. The Bivouac pattern presents more as distinct segments. The Alamo on the other hand, its stripe is just a border. My suggestion is for you try them on in person, and if possible try all three variants so you can compare how they wear on your frame and how the designs visually present themselves to your eyes. Additionally, to me each style felt different in weight, loft, and weave. Hth!
