Did try it on before leaving tonight... This time with jeans. It is really long and heavy but its kind of growing on me now :)
I simply cannot imagine you not having, wearing and loving this one! This Rouge is for you! I understand you're unsure, but this is really stunning, and the rouge poncho is stunning with so many types of ensembles.

It's yummy!

These are heavy, but I don't ever think about the weight when it's keeping me warm (only if I wear it on a day that grows warm itself). The boiled wool/cashmere keeps out wind, and if you're skin is anything like mine, you can keep the heat down low (or even off) in the winter and just wrap in this.

You very much "pull this off"—it seems made for you. Fingers crossed you feel that way by Tuesday. I can (and have) worn it with Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, Issey Miyake, DvF, boots, loafers, etc.

Joined this club a few weeks back and got the blue rocobar! I was in London (for work) and Paris (for fun:yahoo:) and the temps were in the high 30s , low 40s. I walked all over and it kept me toasty warm! Here it is in the Jardin des Tuileries! Thanks IF, and all you ladies for your enabling photos! I love this poncho...and based on random comments I received, so does everyone else!

Hi twin! :smile1: Love this one on you!!! Stunnig! Thanks for sharing this beautiful pic!!

When my SA put it on my shoulders, I immediately asked her how much, and when she told me I said "Please take it off me now!!!":D It's best that I don't come in contact with things that will never be mine!!

Dear HfromT! Thought of you last week when the SM asked me if he should put this beauty in black around my shoulders... I declined (also thinking of the one or other cathair that I would probably have left so easily on the black cashmere... ;).

I've been really tempted to get a poncho but I wonder if it really keeps you warm in the winter? Any feedback on this? :smile1: I'm not a fan of cold weather and prefer to wrap up warm rather than taking chances

The poncho will keep you cosily warm but if it is really cold you will, of course, need another warm layer underneath. I also tend to feel cold rather than too warm and many of my jackets are not warm enough for winter-winter but could now easily be worn with the poncho. Just wonderful! :D

If you're on the fence about this one then you're not seeing what I am, looks supercool.

Ahhh yes, the cat hair reasoning works very well, Sammy Royal!;) Best not to even try this one on...the price is nuts!

Gosh amacasa, I'm with everyone else here who says this looks fabulous on you!! You have the perfect figure to carry it off, and I love the way you've accessorized it...bravo!

Totally agree. It IS beautiful, though... However, IMO our Rocabars and Alamos are much more versatile as they could be worn in so many different ways! :hbeat: So, no real regret for me her... :smile1:

Oh, I WISH I could join the club but went in to H to try the one I ordered on and it didn't like me at all. I can't really put a finger on why it didn't come home with me except that I felt it was too overpowering....

I guess I'm not a poncho girl after all......

(but I DID bring home a stunning 140cm silk .... )

Haha, same here, S'Mom. I went to the boutique yesterday to try it on. And while I kind of liked it, my SA definitely did not which was the deciding factor for me at the end.
Instead, I bought another PdV shawl :p.
