First, any woman would love to have you as their H hubby. Lucky her! Secondly, kudos to her for being practical and not jumping just because it's gator. While that is beautiful, I can see her dilemma. If she is not willing to part with one of her other black bags just to offset yet another, then maybe it's a pass. Afterall she is hesitant and many times first instinct says it all. If a black gator didn't impress or excite her, then maybe it's not a good buy in the end.
I have that same exact KC in shiny black gator with palladium and it is one of my favorite bags. So classic, yet modern. It's so elegant! None of my other black clutches can even come close. She should get it. She won't be sorry!

I, too, had too many black clutches/bags before. I sold some of them after I bought my KC in black croc poro. I really think nothing compares to KC particularly in exotic. I wasn't sure about the KC when I received the call from my SA but my DH convinced me to go and see it in person. It was love at first sight for me. I hope it'll be like that for your DW when she sees it.
Thanks, folks! DW already saw it but wavered because she has too many other things in black. Today, she declined it. Turns out they had other KCs in black croc and dark blue croc at FSH (declined those as well). She THOUGHT about the blue electric KC in epsom, but decided against that, too (since it counts against your B/K quota).
She loves the look of the KC in exotic but wanted something with more pop. Will keep you posted if she ultimately goes with a KC (versus a bag).

Sounds like You both are regulars at FSH. I'm sure they could waive the quota if your DW really wants a B/K and a KC.
I'm a quasi-regular at FSH, but this is only the 2nd trip to Paris for DW. Shockingly, the first KC in gator was offered at George V. Today it was offered in various skins at FSH.
I think you'd be able to obtain both....she could buy the KC, and you could buy the B (for her).
