Hi everyone - I'm a bit of a beginner with H leathers and was hoping you all could help me out with a list of clutches H makes? I'm thinking about getting one but don't want to make the mistake of getting one and then seeing another I like better. So far I know:

Kelly (Longue, Pochette, Cut)
Jige (PM and Elan)
Medor
Egee
Faco
Roulis (does this count, can you tuck the shoulder strap into the bag?)

are u gonna buy it new or thru re-seller? because Longue was rested long time ago. The Egee is the one most abundant at the stores right now. I love the Egee but to me, it's an evening bag.

ok, now this is gonna bug me bc I saw it in the book too and I really didnt take note bc I wasnt interested.

I was lucky enought to be able to handle a sample of it IRL
It is a larger clutch and folds over the top, soft~ leather was an everycolor or evergrain. I loved it, but I love clutches. In Le Monde it is shown in exotic. Price was 5K +/- The one I handled was in Bleu de Galtic (sp) Very nice.
The other one I knew what it was when I handled it and the removable strap was a nice feature. But darn. Really can't remember the name of that one.

I can see u rockin that foldover clutch :smile1:

I am holding out hope that a Piano or Verrou clutch will come my way at a good price one day. :smile1:

Yeah, actually bugs me too that I can't remember the name ~ I may forget everything else but H stuff I have a memory for~ usually. ha!

Seton, probably new. Thanks for telling me Longue was rested a long time ago. I didn't know that. See, I really am green at this. I agree with you that Egee and actually Medor in my opinion is an evening bag. I'm looking for one that will work for day or night and comes in a durable leather since I don't like to baby my bags.

TT and Seton - I seem to remember what TT is talking about. I think I've seen it featured in a magazine recently and it caught my eye. I just tried Google image search but turned up empty handed. TT - do you know what price range it will be in? I'd like to keep my purchase on the lower end of the range. I have a hard time swallowing H prices on bags.

I think I would be interested in the one with a removable strap. Was it structured or soft?

kelly danse, which comes with detachable shoulder/cross body strap
jige GM
constance still being made but rarer than B/K imho!!
constance long wallet can be a clutch..

wouldn't put the roulis in the clutch category, it is quite a big bag even with the strap tucked in. it is not for hand held purposes imho.

It was structured but not a Kelly Danse. More like the Faco but not.

I think the Jige or Kelly Pochette are casual enough to wear during the day or for work. You can also consider the Kelly wallet (with the gusset) or Constance wallet as clutches too.

I was able to get my essentials in it and it was nice not having to carry such a big bag. I used the Graff twilly as a strap and they both got a lot of compliments.
