Prada Psycho, you rock the potiron Web! The orange has just the right amount of intensity and depth. LS, I think potiron is better than orange, if there's one in chevre.

I did actually turn down a potiron CDC 28 HAC before... :p The colour was very intense but I was looking for a fresher shade.

Anyway in a small bag with 28cm I feel that the CDC over powers the look. The grains look mashed together.

Thanks, MsPiggy. :cutesy:

I just love my Web. It was my first H bag and the only one I'd never consider selling. DH is always asking which bag(s) I'd keep if I had to keep only one or a couple of them. This one is at the top of the list.

Potiron is a great neutral. It truly doesn't look "orange" at all. Just enough brown tint to make it go with anything. Well, I might not wear it with an all black outfit. That's getting too close to looking like Halloween for my tastes. :roflmfao:

I  CHEVRE!!!

Ms piggy, i'd describe rouge vif in chevre as a true red, perhaps neutral at best perhaps a wee bit more to the blue undertone side, definitely not to the orange undertone side. it is a bit like Hermes orange in that it is truly a neutral red in my opinion that it goes with everything i wear, even browns/beiges. I like vermillion as well but it is a brighter red more to the orange undertone side. i'd say like orange is to potiron, as is vermillion to rouge vif. hope this helps. BTW, this photo was without flash in indirect sunlight, arizona sunlight, with the window looking north ;)

trisha, your rouge vif CDC was one of the bags that caught my eye whilst researching chevre. How would you describe the red in person? Is it a bright true red? I wonder how does it differ from rouge vermillion?
