Not 100% sure what you're asking - there feels like there is space between the outer leather and the lining?
Box is generally lightweight.

Hi, thank you for your time in replying. To address the issue a bit clearer, as words are a bit difficult... I have uploaded a link showing how the leather reacts when i gently press on it...

I have tried to stuff the bag, and the condition has improved a little, although the back, as you can see, shows the leather in the middle caving inwards a bit (hence the bag reflects the light off the both sides).. hope I am making more sense...

Apologies if this is an entirely normal reaction.. as this is my first time interacting with Box leather. Thank you!

Ok it looks to me as if the back panel and lining MAY have separated. I am only guessing from your video. If that's not the case then I wouldn't worry. The Box leather has probably softened. Could you take it to an Hermes store?

I echo @periogirl ...if the lining is still tight to the bag, then it is just softer Box. Box in an HAC isn't usually super stiff, it gets supple pretty fast. Box bags can be anywhere from ultra rigid to slouchy.

@mswkk I thought your HAC looks similar to my b35? Mine is perfectly fine; just came back from spa

I read comments saying HAC32 is lighter than B35. I’m rather skeptical. Just wonder if anyone had experienced both, which one is lighter for same boxcalf leather. If indeed lighter, just bcoz HAC32 has smaller dimension?

@periogirl28 - I could and I would, if members of the forum, with prior experience with box, thinks there is something off to it. If it is actually completely normal, I can live with it and need not to have it confirmed by Hermes.

@QuelleFromage thank you for your description, considering it is preloved and from the 2000s, I wouldnt rule out that indeed it has become a bit soft.

@allywchu1 Your B35 is gorgeous!! Indeed, it does look a bit like my HAC32... does it also have the 'caving in' effect when you prod the bag when it isn't fully stuffed ?

Haven't had the opportunity to compare box HAC 32 and box B35, but i cannot stop raving about how lightweight it is! (only had the chance to know the weight of Togo B35) And of course, you are right, I guess the dimensions also add to the weight difference...

Wooooow sorry to be a little off topic, but your B is total HG of mine!!! Just gorgeous!!!

I have these pics in my files which aren't very new but you can see that she's not totally stiff!

She's just come back from the spa now, I'll try and take some new pics in the next few days.

Thanks for the pics!!!! It does look like mine, I guess that explains it for me then :)

I come across this vintage picture the other time when researching H. No idea who she is but love her bag. I’m wondering if it’s a boxcalf B35 or b40?
