All this time, I've thought I had a Black Box Kelly 28....but looking at everyone's pictures, my doesn't look anything like the pictures of box. Its not as smooth and has a slight texture, but it is somewhat shiny. Maybe its because I hardly use it?

Its killing me to figure out what it is. I have to wait until tonight to get home and take pictures. What could it be? Would the leather discription be indicated anywhere inside the bag or box or receipt?

I could be box but it has not developed it's patina yet. The patina comes from the oils in your skin, and comes after years of use. The process can't be rushed by product. Patina takes time and the leather will go through stages, but the final result is so worth it!
Post some pics, we can tell what leather, and if it is Box, use that bag!!!

OK, not boxcalf! From the first pic, looks like epsom. Don't worry about knowing the leather, sometimes they don't mention what it is in the store when a person buys a bag.
