Barenia blue it's really lust. Making a reserche for barenia available with my SA, she has found this picotin, two years ago, that was in a shop in Italy since two years...and nobody bought it because of barenia leather... I was really lucky.

The size is mm.

Oh yay! Thrilled to be twins on this charm!!! I never thought I would find one of these at the boutique...let alone the perfect color combo that I wanted!!! I was truly squealing out loud when the SA showed me this!!!!

Ladies, as a new Barenia owner,:yahoo: I have so many questions. My main one is about twillies on handles. So far, Sea-Biscuit has sat on buffet as I gaze upon her beauty but when I get courageous enough to actually carry her, do I fear oils on skin/handles? What do you do/think? And I know you have seen her, but thank you for letting me post again!

I'm probably in the minority here, but I use my 3 yearold Barenia Birkin without twillies just like any other bag. The only thing I'm careful about is rain/water. The handles are darker, but unless you always put twillies on them, it's inevitable. I like my bags to have a well loved/well used appearance!

If I will ever get my Barenia Birkin, I swear I will not use twillies. I love the way a barenia bag ages and develops patina!
when I use my barenia KD I never be careful while washing my hands and nothing happened so far. One time I cooked with is and liquid butter from the pan made little spots on the leather. I tried to clean it with a damp cloth, clearly, the spots stayed. the next day everything was gone and the KD looks as new as it did before.....
wonderful leather!!!!!

Au-naturale for me dear. So far....so good. She is going to patina no matter what you do. This bag is perfect because it is imperfect. The first marks are the worst!!! I lost sleep over my first mark....since my anal-ness made it worse....now I go with the flow!

Let sea biscuit run freeeeeee!!!!!!

mp4: I thought of you last night as I got my first mark on Biscuit!! I was at a Sport's Awards presentation for my ds and I was sitting in the back of the auditorium lovingly feeling the new waxy feel of my bag and BAM, I saw the scuff!!

I think I might post a picture and actually for those peeps interested, take a picture once a month for awhile to show the way she evolves.

Something odd though!! Everyone talks about the luxurious leather smell of barenia but I feel like my togo leathers smell just as good. How odd is that? I have a good sniffer too so I don't know????

My first month of usage observation: A Barenia's feel-- an intoxicatingly delicious waxy touch and feel is the BEST PART OF BARENIA. Just sayin'.... ;)

The rivets on my jeans even leave marks. Just give that scuff a rub with your finger and forget about it!
