to nourish it i think. otherwise it can get pretty dry. the direction on the can is for saddles. after applying baume, i had some water on it, and the water just rolled off. some which sank into the leather made the barenia splotched really dark for awhile, and then that part just turned to normal once it air-dried :yes:

there are all sorts of info on this on docride's leather care thread :smile1: have fun reading!!! :D

Joining this club with a new-to-me Evelyne GM. It just got christened by one of my dogs who decided to walk right up to it and stick his nose on it (that would be the little smudge on the backside). I'm trying to be :laugh: instead of :wtf:.
Help me to not be afraid of using it!:sweatdrop:

Thank you! I must admit that I was doubtful when I took it out of the box...I didn't 'get' the whole barenia deal but I took it out today and I think it is slowly growing on me...I am determined to use it as it is meant to be used and not be afraid! :smile1: I like that it is fairly casual (just like me).

Oh, and my doggie's nose print is virtually gone!

It's so pretty!! Don't be afraid of it!! I have a wide Barenia bracelet and it is amazingly easy to keep looking good. I've had water drops on it many times and they just wipe away. Scratches can be rubbed out. You need to carry this gorgeous Evelyne!!!
